This is quite a special picture, as this is me and my sister having a night out and a lot of fun! She met a load of my friends and had a whale of a time - I'm not sure who persuaded her to have the glitter beard done!

It was a wonderful feeling when I told and showed her all about me and she just said "You have great legs!" :-)

Snapped this cool girl while out shooting Shibuya's famous New Year's fukubukuro sale.

Shooot yesterday with the marvellous Saff & Oliver.

As you can probably guess, it rained ¬__¬

More to come probably.

And yes, this badboy waistcoat is what I needed all those feathers for (:

Early in September, I went to catsit Meowers, it's been a whole pandemic since I last saw the dude, and in that time, he is a bit older, a lot mellower and he and his parents have moved house within North London.

I was there for a week and it was MUCH needed. I hadn't realised how much I needed to stop until I was there and I could hear my own breathing and feel myself immersing into the city. There is something I find hugely grounding about London, even more so when I am on my own. I took a trip out to Kew Gardens one day, I went a few years ago with Lisa, and it was joyful.

This time around I was on my own, and I found the whole experience really moving. It's hard to explain really, I think at heart I'm a living/earth/forest person and being surrounded by so many giant plants is food for the soul.

Big love to P&A for their ongoing trust in my ability to car for their fur-baby. XX

Side note- I've had blonde highlights put through my hair- I tried the embracing my hair thing and actually I just prefer to be blonder :)

This is my photo for the 52 in 2020 Challenge - #39 - shoes.

My daughter loves leopard print items and when I saw these shoes I had to buy them and put them away for her birthday in November.

One "yes" was all it took and less than ten minutes later I asked Margaret for her portrait.

I met Margaret while she was sitting on the steps in front of the Main Library on 5th Avenue during her lunch hour. Visually, I was so taken by this scene of maybe a hundred or more people in various states of relaxation lining the enormous rows of steps from one end to the other. Sunning themselves, eating lunch, listening to their iPods or texting, reading, talking and simply people watching; all kinds of people lined between the pair of lion statues like a collection of novels between two giant bookends.

Margaret invited me to sit next to her and asked if this was a project for something. Up to this point I had not thought of it as anything. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Jason and Bill at the bottom of the steps watching me and bantering back and forth like two grade school kids challenging their classmate on a dare. 41st street stretched behind them like a true "urban canyon" reminding me of my time working in the city, and before I could think twice I told Margaret about flickr and the 100 Strangers project.

"100 Strangers in a day?" she asked. Oh... I wasn't thinking about one day but maybe it was the look on my companion's faces or that expansive view down 41st Street which has always been one of my favorite sights; I was inspired and I found myself saying, "yes, I'm going to try it in one day".

And so it began.
