Taken at the Thirsty Thursday birthday party back in Feb. This is a weekly event for t-people in a local bar in Bristol called The Palace. If you are ever in the area, come along and have a chat with the gang! We are a very friendly bunch of people.
Thirsty Thursday started just over 4 years ago when some friends and I started going out regularly and chose The Palace as our venue. It's sort of grown since then. The numbers have fluctuated between 4 or 5 up to 30 for some events, but there will always be a friendly welcome in The Palace, no matter how many people are there.
Shame about the partial blink, but this is the other summer dress I bought and couldn't send back. This has been a fabulous dress to wear this summer!
I also love the chunky necklace, do you like it?
Both this dress and the one in the previous picture come from Wallis, my favourite dress store. Do you have a favourite shop for clothes or anything else?
Coinciding with the Spice Girls international reunion tour, Sydney's inimitable professional drag queens stage a tribute show at Arq Nightclub. Dressed as Ginger Spice, drag queen Minnie Cooper tells an amusing story to the rest of the 'Spice Girls' backstage -- from left to right: Ginger Spice (Minnie Cooper), Posh Spice (Charisma Belle), Baby Spice (Miss Tiffany) and Scary Spice (Kitty Glitter). Another drag queen appears on video only as Sporty Spice.
Part of an ongoing documentary study on the life of Sydney professional drag queen, Kitty Glitter, far right (in progress).
Darlinghurst, Sydney, 2007
So after 18 months of enforced exile, we finally managed to get out for a proper night of chatting, laughing, singing, dancing and drinking on Saturday.
We started in the Old Market Tavern and finished of in the Bristol Bear Bar.
It was so fabulous to reconnect with friends and catch up on what everyone has been up to. A wonderul night that went on into the small hours of the morning.
Have you been out yet, or are you waiting for the situation to improve?
I really like these red leopard print leggings, not only are they comfortable, but they are a little different too.

Candid eye contact street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. The shot was originally intended to be colour as she was holding up her tablet as I approached and it the pattern on the back of it contrasted wonderfully with her pink and orange leopard print dress. She lowered the tablet and gave me some eye contact as I clicked the shutter and the shot then became a black and white contrast between her leopard spots and the stripes of the column. As always, enjoy full screen by pressing 'L' and I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!
