Cheap digital calipers + camera = recording calipers :-) (I took the camera with me to home depot and checked the numbers on this and a couple of other pictures against the dimensions on the package...) Now if only there was OCR tech that could handle this...

The clock was ticking once I'd informed my father there was a large fishy body in the pond. I had to beg buriel delays and work fast to get shots before it was laid to final rest.

The light was changing fast and this wasn't one of the more favorable moments, with the sun a bit too harsh, but I like the warmer colors here. Notice the 52mm Nikon lenscap I threw down to try to give some scale. I did better in the next shot.

Val

I forget when I met Val for the first time. OHHHHH wait I remember i was working at the Library and she checked out 30 FREAKING BOOKS! I was thinking to myself what is this girl going to do with all the freaking books! Will she have enough time to read them all? Hehehe! Anyways to be honest with you I didn't like Val at first. I guess it was when I was helping out my Anatomy professor in one her labs and Val asked "Is there muscle under here(she's point out her cheek)?" and I'm like OMG! Ohhhh wells but we did share something in COMMON! A flickr! hahahaha! Then we were also both Nursing Majors and I was in her class.

So dont judge at first impressions! Get to know people!

Val really does think of other people than herself! She's kind and warm-hearted! She is a bit obnoxious though! But she has learned from her mistakes and has grown from them! Val YOUR ARE ONE AMAZING PERSON!

A bit of a macro type shot today, my christmas present arrived so i thought i better test it before it got wrapped up.

In an ideal world i'd like a macro lens, but to be honest i don't do enough of that sort of photography to warrant it, so i bought myself a set of extension tubes instead.

And this was the test shot, just one of my well worn lens caps.
