Lens diaphragm, stopped down.

From there everything is in focus all the way down to Wilkins road . This lens compacts distance really well . Wilkins is a mile from where I am standing on the road at the edge of the trail where it crosses Girdham Road

Testing a preloved CANON RF 15-30mm f/4.5-6.3 IS ST lens from MBP. Tricky shooting, the local mini forest is not actively managed and chaotic. The paths wander as trees grow and local dog walkers trim branches. We had a lot of trees blown down in storms over the last few years.

Aberdeenshire (Scottish Gaelic: Siorrachd Obar Dheathain) is one of the 32 council areas of Scotland. It takes its name from the old County of Aberdeen which had substantially different boundaries. Modern Aberdeenshire includes all of what was once Kincardineshire, as well as part of Banffshire. The old boundaries are still officially used for a few purposes, namely land registration and lieutenancy. Aberdeenshire Council is headquartered at Woodhill House, in Aberdeen, making it the only Scottish council whose headquarters are located outside its jurisdiction. Aberdeen itself forms a different council area (Aberdeen City). Aberdeenshire borders onto Angus and Perth and Kinross to the south, Highland and Moray to the west and Aberdeen City to the east. Traditionally, it has been economically dependent upon the primary sector (agriculture, fishing, and forestry) and related processing industries. Over the last 40 years, the development of the oil and gas industry and associated service sector has broadened Aberdeenshire's economic base, and contributed to a rapid population growth of some 50% since 1975. Its land represents 8% of Scotland's overall territory. It covers an area of 6,313 square kilometres

THE GERMAN FOUNTAIN

The octagonal, domed fountain at the entrance to the Hippodrome was a present from the German Emperor Wilhelm II to Sultan Abdulhamid II and the city of Istanbul. It was built in Germany and installed in Istanbul in 1898. Built in a neo-Byzantine style, the fountain is decorated with gold mosaics inside. It is a beautiful fountain, but does not blend well with the ancient monuments in the vicinity.

Single frames with this lens are actually quite good but pushing the boundaries of what cheap lenses can do....there is significant 'moustache' distortion in a panorama this wide....it took me forever to repair all the issues. Ah well even with that it is still one of my favourite lenses to use as it has basically all my most used focal lengths in a single lens that is smaller than you'd expect❤

My very first prime lens was a Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 55mm f1.8, from 1972. I've very much enjoyed using it on film and digital cameras over the years.

In July 2013, I acquired my second version of this series - an Auto-Takumar 55mm f2.2. And since then I've been researching and collecting other versions - the latest being a Takuimar 55mm 2.2, dating to around 1958.

I've just posted a You Tube video guide to all the Takumar 55mm lenses - it's here if you're interested:

Camera Test:

GF1 x 50mm Summicron M Mount

A friend of my father lent me a M mount so that I could load my 50mm Summicron and Summarit to the GF-1. More surprisingly, he passed me a Cosina 15mm F4.5 : )

Even though this combination is not new, I am still stunned by the image quality.

M43 x Leica M Mount = Highly recommended : )

Want to give you all a big thank you, for being my friends, it means so much. To be able to travel the world via Flickr, viewing all your beautiful images, admiring your scenery, animals and birds, some of the postings I could only ever dream of seeing, and local birder photographers, with help in locating rare visitors they have seen , thank you. Special thanks to Les Woodward for coaching my camera skills,in the past, and sowing the birding bug! and still a lot to learn, I hear you say.

You are a very friendly and talented lot, and my world would not be the same without you.......God bless you all ..Tomx.

The love of this solid beast is the reason why I'm still taking photos! (here's the photo that made the decision: www.flickr.com/photos/chrisg35mm/29439793052

عذرا على الاقتصاص*

I tried out a new technique a few days ago - lens whacking. It's also sometimes called free lensing. You essentially remove the lens from the camera and move it around with your hand to focus the image. I did this with the Canon EOS M and the 50mm 1.4 lens. I didn't use the EF-m adapter for this experiment

Everyone long time no see.

Thank you for your visit and comments and favorite of everyone while I'm resting.

Sorry to worry you.

My eye surgery is recovering smoothly. However though I thought that my husband 's nursing care is increasingly difficult,

I thought of quitting flickr everyday, but I am sorry to say goodbye to everyone, so I came back home.

I think that it will become UP from time to time but I am looking forward to your visit and comments.

I want to try hard as much as possible.

I would appreciate your favor in the future.

Have a wonderful day to my friends.

Best regards.

Herrlich, mal wieder minimalistisch zu fotografieren. Mit den alten Scherben, die noch älter sind als man selber, macht das gleich doppelt so viel spaß.

SONY A7II with (round about) 60 years old lens Trioplan 1:2.9/50 V Meyer-Optik Görlitz using a M42/NEX adapter in order to mount it. The 12 bladed aperture is visible in the image above. The SONY full-frame in body image stabilization works great with this lens. Sharpness is very good. The lenshood is the solid IHAGEE. A photo shot with this lens can be found here --> Pure Nature Macro - Taken With A TRIOPLAN Vintage Lens and here --> Shiny Heart.

All in all it's a pretty lens/camera combination which i really like. With this Trioplan lens i also shot the most viewed image in my photostream, which can be found here ---> Blossom - Erythrina Coralloides DC.

The photo of this lens/camera combination was taken with the Fujifilm FinePix F11 camera at 8.0mm. f/8.0. ISO 200. 1/30s.
