Early morning on Lake of Two Rivers revealed these three boats abandoned on the beach as the sun struggled to shine through the heavy fog. Usually we see a few paddlers out on the water to greet the sun even with a dense fog. But the lake was deserted and very quiet.
...by something geological. PS found some Oakley sunglasses here in the middle of nowhere...no paths... I left them on a rock if anyone wants to go back and claim them

On the left always shines the light
As darkness plagues those on the right
Who stand in the shadows of deceit
With icy hearts and frozen feet
Under the trees, barren and bare
They can only look and stare
To the left as freedoms light
Conquers the darkness of the right
I take the path on the left and I find this beautiful curved tree, illuminated by the little sun that penetrates the fog and the depths of the trees. This is exactly what I am looking for, an enchanted corner in the silence of the woods. The journey continues, maybe I'll still be lucky.
