This Northern Shrike turned down our offer of tofu, preferring to impale small birds and rodents.
Not the best IQ - image quality - on feet and facing away from the camera, of course. I think I heard, No Tofu!, as it flew.
Wimp.
'A predatory songbird, the Northern Shrike breeds in taiga and tundra and winters in southern Canada and the northern United States. It feeds on small birds, mammals, and insects, sometimes impaling them on spines or barbed wire fences.'

The Nittany & Bald Eagle turn from Bellefonte has just swung off the branch and beings the sprint down to Tyrone to interchange cars with NS.
Captured this image as the great blue heron was leaving the nest. During the nesting season they are very busy. The are busy bringing home nesting material or food for their young. The herons are awesome parents and work together to build their future !!

The George Gate of course a focal point of many in the old town of Dresden. Here a photo attempt the view through Georgentor on the stable yard over to the Frauenkirche.
I stand here exactly under the Georgentor you can not see it therefore. It was exhausting to keep this place free at this time here. There should be two! For the children there was ice cream, demanding adults got beer. No the Dresdeners were very very nice and accommodating.

I'm always sad to see fall receding into the past. It's such a wonderful time of the year.
Pete's tail is like a giant broom. It picks up all kinds of things along our rides, this time a few fallen leaves.

A tour boat continues on its island-hopping trip after a lunch stopover at Talisay Beach in Tapiutan Island, El Nido, Palawan.
I've only have another month here in Russia. After 6 years here, it's kinda hard for me to leave. Gonna miss this place.
