Reticulated giraffe (Giraffa reticulata or Giraffa camelopardalis reticulata), aka Somali giraffe.
Sarara Camp periodically hand raises orphaned animals. This giraffe was one such orphan and though she lives a wild life, does come over to greet Camp folks that she knows. This was our hello.

An image from Dartmoor back in February 2019. Similar conditions up there today judging by the webcam. It's so frustrating being stuck at home.
Not a 'trick' of the camera, as these two water lilies were naturally in a 'leaning' position. Captured in fairly bright afternoon sunshine.
Taken in Barnes's Grove, Buckinghamshire, this tree has always fascinated me and I've never been able to get a good shot of it till yesterday. The mist blanked out the harsh sky allowing me to expose this leaning beasty the way I wanted highlighting its writhing, reaching branches.
Before the Storm in Pisa. The Leaning Tower of Pisa
(in Italian: Torre Pendente di Pisa) is the campanile, or freestanding bell tower, of the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa. The tower is situated behind the Pisa Cathedral and is the third-oldest structure in the city's Cathedral Square (Piazza del Duomo).
The tower began to lean during construction in the 12th
century, due to soft ground which could not properly support
the structure's weight, and it worsened through the
completion of construction in the 14th century. By 1990 the
tilt had reached 5.5 degrees. The structure was
stabilized by remedial work between 1993 and 2001, which
reduced the tilt to 3.97 degrees.
Thanks.

This house has been abandoned for awhile. The side roof has collapsed. The large window area on the second floor is pulling away from the roof. The whole main area looks like it is leaning forward, so I think it won’t be long. The main floor has the same window treatments as my previous post - the “Texture House.” It was a really big house. It is located in the midst of farmland, so maybe it was a farmhouse. I didn’t see any barns or silos around it though. HWW!
Located in the Northern Neck of Virginia.
I appreciate all your comments and faves.

These Silver or Grey Poplars have already dropped their leaves ready for the coming winter while all the other trees still have plenty. All of the trees in this avenue lean this way the remaining trees in the surrounding area do not. It is quite a visually confusing thing to see.
I posted another shot of this young Brown Thrasher earlier, but I like his pose here-- a most inquisitive bird. Glendale, Missouri
Taken in Barnes's Grove on a misty winters morning (I know its not officially winter but it feels like it!) Found this wonderful tree that I haven't captured before, having a sway with the remnants of its autumn foliage.

In the beautiful morning light on Cleaver Rd. in Paris ON. Way before all the worries and problems with Covid. Things have changed so much. I went through the drive-thru at Harvey's tonight after work. As she saw I was using the debit card, out came the machine on a Hockey stick. I got a good laugh out of that one.
Happy Fence Friday
Taken on the edge of Knighton's Hill Wood, Buckinghamshire, the path is ominously overshadowed by the wood leaning in as if in a mad rush to escape!
A chill mist lingers on the Canal bank near Ellel, Lancashire. I hope the weather improves soon, this grey wet weather is quite uninspiring!
NILES, ILLINOIS! (Replica built in 1934). Since 1934 that whole neighborhood has changed dramatically. There is a Costco across the street and the tower stands in the parking lot of a YMCA........weird.
A Green Anole peeks over the edge of a leaf, looking for insects to eat. I spent about two hours with these little lizards in my sister's back yard in Jacksonville, Florida when visiting her in 2019.
Green Anoles average about 4 inches in body size, with their tails extending another 4 inches. While the lizard above appears quite large, it is due to the perspective of my macro lens magnification, and the close proximity of the lens to the animal.
In order to get this close without spooking it and having it scurry away, it required a very patient stalking technique involving slow movement, quiet presence, and muscles in my arms and hands that often quivered uncontrollably due to holding my heavy gear for such extended handheld sessions! Actually surprising that ANY of my images were sharp, lol.
