When you're not strong,
Ill be your friend,
Ill help you carry on,
For, it wont be long,
til I'm gonna need,
Somebody to lean on.
...Classic.

My pretty tulips, one of them is starting to hang pretty much, so he has to lean on one of the others.
Much missed on this service, 60017 is nearly on Naas Lane crossing working 6B13 05:00 Robeston Sidings to Westerleigh Murco back in 2022.
Lean on me…but not that much! Clearly the highlight of this shot is not the tree that is leaning but the one that is struggling to support it!

Music: Lean On Me - Bill Withers
This is the last shot from our 10 km walk that day, we enjoyed the variety in landscape. When you want to see all the shots, just visit the set: Lutterzand
The previous image was from a train pulling into the station (thus going relatively slowly). This image is of a train not stopping at the station and moving very quickly, hence there is far more "lean" due to the progressive scanning nature of the sensor in the cellphone camera. I was lucky enough to have someone walking by at the time.

Didn't get a picture today so I just leaned out of my window - temp in the low 20s and forecast to stay for several days.
if there is a load you have to bear
that you can't carry
I'm right up the road
I'll share your load
if you just call me

lean on me
when you're not strong
and I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
for it won't be long
'til I'm gonna need
somebody to lean on…

I have taken a few shots around this area. This leaning tree grows out over the Calgary resevoir and I decided to get up close and personal this time.
"Lean on me" is a song originally written and recorded by Bill Withers in 1972... I'm sure you all know it... such a great song!

With broad appeal and a memorable, sturdy flavor, this sake has the ability to complement even the most wine-unfriendly vegetables. This Junmai Ginjo is made with Yamada Nishiki rice, known as the pinnacle of quality for sake rice. It is named after the famous Chinese poet, Li Po, who was said to drink a bottle of sake and write one hundred poems.
Junmai Ginjo
TASTING NOTES
Notes of banana and ripe honeydew with a clean, crisp acidity that highlights its light-to-medium body. The lingering finish moves from juicy fruitiness to green, herbal notes making it a great food companion.
FOOD PAIRING
Pairs well with many vegetables like asparagus, artichoke hearts, broccoli rabe, green salad, and brie cheese.
Dreamy Clouds is quite special because its milling rate of 41% technically qualifies it as Junmai Ginjo grade - a rare quality level for a nigori (cloudy) sake. It presents an opportunity to move Nigori drinkers forward to new styles of sake.
Nigori
TASTING NOTES
Bright and lean in the mouth, unlike many Nigori, and the impact is chewy with sweet rice flavors intermingling with the nutty and slightly fruity characteristics of the sake.
FOOD PAIRING
Pair with spicy noodle dishes, risotto, or white fish.
I woke up early. Walked to my kitchen and put on a kettle to boil water for a pot of coffee.
I was standing next to the window and could feel the cold seeping in through the glass.
On impulse, I pressed my cheek against the glass, I remember doing this when I was a child. It still felt good.
I stayed like that for a few moments, face against the morning cold, eyes closed.
If I were to have stayed any longer I probably would have fallen asleep, right there, leaned against dawn.
I heard the kettle whistle and opened my eyes, this is what I saw...glad I had my camera handy :)
