Yesterday I took a trip to Wyming Brook in the Peak District with a fellow photographer/friend. It was my first visit here and was amazed at how much there was to capture. I had taken many images, when I came across this composition. Although yes it's gentle cascade of water is beautiful, I however took the image for another reason. My heart skipped a beat when I saw two animals resting, at peace with each other. A large turtle laying flat with it's huge head and foot. And to the left of it another animal leaning its head against it. Kind of ancient horse looking, you can clearly see the head, eye and ear. In my eyes, that was the beauty in this image. Hence why Iv'e called it....Lean on me
This image is part of a long time going project which i started a while ago. I call it „Tamer Animals“.
I will put up a few more images of this project from time to time. Producing images for this project let me so deep immerse with nature, it almost let’s me melt with it. It’s so special for me.
Not a web-builder; rather, it stalks its prey like a hunting feline. Hence the lynx title. I have applied as much "magic" as I can with Topaz to improve the sharpness of the spider, but the identity of the prey is not clear.
Posting a series of shots after talking to some of the guys as they landed on the beach, knowing I had been shooting. I'm hoping they'll find these. Merci for a very entertaining and exhilarating couple of hours!

The stick sculpture named "Lean on Me", located just outside of St. Joseph, Minnesota, was erected in 2012 by artist Patrick Dougherty in collaboration with the College of St. Benedict and St. John's University. It was completed in 19 days, with many local volunteers assisted Dougherty during its creation. The whimsical structure however may be removed later this year, as it was only planned to be standing for two years. On the day I visited, the weather was a bit foreboding, hence the dark and moody presentation.
So just call on me brother, when you need a hand,
We all need somebody to lean on,
I just might have a problem that you'd understand,
We all need somebody to lean on.
Lean on me, when you're not strong,
And I'll be your friend,
I'll help you carry on,
For it won't be long, till I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on.

Many, many thanks to my brother-in-law who came and fixed my computer! I had over 350 Trojan viruses and many others. D'oh!!
Sadly, this house has now leaned all the way down to the ground, over the course of one year between visits.
