Took this a couple of weeks ago with the Fence Friday theme in mind - I really like the lines, the perspective which takes you towards the silhouette of the trees and hedge in the distance.
Dear friends, in this period my mother has some health problems, so I have few time to remain on line.

Sometimes called a "Prayer Plant" because the leaves reach up in the evening. I would think more "Praise" than "Prayer"

In Germany we took a trip to Schönau am Königsee where you can take a boat along the lake to Obersee down the far end. We hiked around this lake to the boat house and chalet offering locally made cheeses and beer.
In the late day light as they wait for freeze-up, a rim lit mother polar bear leads her cub across the snowy landscape near Hudson Bay, which is just over the horizon past the few stunted evergreen trees, Churchill, Manitoba.

Following on from the last shot, turns out that the Herdy had a daughter in tow (probably) and they showed me the path to the next Wainwright, Sergeants Crag..
Stunning day on Saturday at Day's Bay. I liked how the boards drew me into a walk along the jetty. We'd just eaten beautiful wood fired pizza so a beach wander was also on the menu. Loved dipping my legs in the swoshing water albeit freezing cold.
This is a 105 meters long train bridge in my hometown Lüdinghausen, which was built in 1938.
I used a 4 minutes exposure for the sky and the water and blended it with a much shorter one for the rest of the scene.
