I spotted these Cyclists on a resist visit to Settle Town, which is up in the Yorkshire Dales of England and which looks a cosy way to get around in this small town!

Follow the Leader Gulls flying over looking for food, warm day at the beach a while back, shot in North Carolina.
They've come and gone twice in one day! I have seen tens of thousands of followers but have seen the leader!

The Proud Leader
In the calm of an early morning, on water barely moving, one swan stepped forward — quietly, confidently, speaking only with his gaze.
He took the lead, steady and composed, guiding his small white procession as they followed the rhythm of the river.
For a moment, it felt like a gentle ceremony of nature, a ritual revealed only to those who wait long enough for the world to exhale.

The 92 year old Leader Church sits on the Colorado prairies about 30 miles NE of Pueblo CO or 40 miles SE of Colorado Springs CO as the crow flies.
FEC GP40-2 431 leads train 121 south through Dania Beach, FL on their way south to Hialeah, FL.
The train must have ran into issues as 431 was set to lead. It isn't too common to see EMD leaders on road trains so this was a nice treat.
Class leader VIA 900 brings up the rear of VIA 62 as it approaches a vintage signal bridge. It is showing a Limited to Clear signal for VIA 62, which will bring it to the South Track, with CN 149 coming on the North Track.
Pride leaders pay a heavy price for their position as is evident from this battle-scarred warrior. I watched an older lion, too weak to join the food fest after a kill, still play a dominant role when it came time to bring down a big bull buffalo. It still went out to challenge another younger and stronger looking male encroaching on the pride’s turf. The photographer part of me wanted to photograph a fight but my tender side wanted the pride leader to live to fight another day. There’s nothing like lions to bring out emotions. (Panthera leo) (Sony a1, 400mm, f/2.8, 1/250 second, ISO 6400)
Not the shot or location I wanted, but it works. Q217-06 with CSX ST70AH 8900 rolls down the CSX Philadelphia sub in the early afternoon sun. Here they are going from the main to track one as the close in on Bayview yard in Baltimore, MD.
CSX 8900 is the class leader of the 10 EMD ST70AH locomotives that CSX purchased.

A foreign leader on the Norfolk Southern Pittsburgh Line is a rare sight now a days. I was ecstatic to see a CSX GEVO parked at the WYE on the Buffalo Line (where the bare tables are snaking off of just beyond the signals) and even more thrilled that it got a signal down to the fuel pad while I had time to grab it.
The train is 24V and the bare tables came out of New York the evening prior.

A Thirteen-Lined Ground Squirrel (Spermophilus tridecemlineatus) poses perfectly to display the markings which give the species its name. This little creature was observed along a gravel road on the prairie landscape near Leader, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Victorian era buildings on Colborne Street, between Church Street and Leader Lane
Colborne Street is a street running several hundred metres east of Yonge Street in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It crosses Victoria Street and Leader Lane, ending at Church Street. It is located between and parallel to King Street East and Wellington Street East. The street is notable for retaining several historic buildings built during the reign of Queen Victoria.[1]
In 1822 a two-storey building, Masonic Hall, with a cupola was built on what is now Colborne Street.[2]
The 15 storey Trader’s Bank Building at the corner of Colborne and Yonge streets was the tallest building in the British Empire when it was built in 1906 191

These American white pelicans (Pelecanus erythrorhynchos) seemed to be playing follow the leader across Lake Springfield from my vantage point. Let's hope they are prepared for tomorrow's brutal winter storm.

The vehicles carrier, Pisces Leader [IMO 9676876] on approach to Fremantle Harbour on December 16, 2015. Her previous port was Port Adelaide and once she has discharged her cargo via Patrick Stevedores operated No. 11 NQ berth will continue on to Singapore. She was built at the Shin Kurushima Onshi shipyard in Japan in 2014.

Much-anticipated ethanol loads roll south on the P&W behind the correct leader. A lot of Stop & Protects meant it took them over two hours to cover the ~15 miles from Worcester.
