Backdrop framework is in place. I don't want to make it too tall (15" now) and have shadows thrown across one side of the layout. My theory is to not completely use it as a view block from standing height, but it'll make pictures look a little better once I get some scenery started.

So I decided to make myself a layout, I don't really feel like coding the beast, so i'm going to get someone to do that for me. It only took me what, maybe 4 hours to make? haha. It could have been worse. Not the absolute best, but I like it, it grows on you.

In portrait mode the layout is re-arranged. The 'fat' toolbar of S60 5th Edition is gone. Icons are larger (spread over two rows, not three), which makes for a bigger target area. Note also the inclusion of a larger and more centralised notification area. Pressing this area bring up the connection and status box, which makes it easy to changes connections (find WiFi) and get at a glance status.

These 6 12x12 Scrapbook pages and these 4 cards were created using one deluxe scrapbook kit featuring a combination of My Mind's Eye's "Boy Crazy and My Girl" collections. The cards were created with leftover scraps after making the 6 page layouts!
This is basically a variation of the other layout. I moved the intro text to the "main frame" and created two columns.
This recipe is very short -that's why the layout looks a bit empty, specially the sidebar- but most recipes are longer, I guess...
Jagersfontein is a small forgotten town in the Free State province of South Africa. Founded in 1871, after the first diamonds were discovered, the town quickly developed with the promise and wealth brought by the diamond rush. The mine (long abandoned) still stands as the world's biggest vertical handmade hole.
All of the promise was overshadowed by the discovery of diamonds in Kimberly and although the mining continued for a 100 years the wide streets and elaborate street corner water pumps (built with future expansion in mind) now remain underutilized and dusty.
The town has become an aging portrait. It's layout and wide roads, it's remaining buildings, telling the story of initial promise and hope but the years have taken away its shine.

Vi essas imagens da Lucy enquanto fuçava no HQDiesel e pensei "puxa, tenho que fazer um layout com elas!" e saiu isso. Gostei bastante do resultado!
about halfway through getting the colors right i realized it looks like my old Brownies uniform....the jumper with the tassle socks and the "snap tie"...oh yeah...

PQP Não tenho palavras pra explicar a perfeição da Miley nessa foto, agora é só esperar o shoot inteiro. Bom, o Lucas (@CyrusMafiaBR) disse que gostava da combinação de Preto e Vermelho então eu me inspirei, pra foto principal dei um tratamento vermelho pra combinar com o Layout, e as outras deixei na versão normal, gostei do menu e da área de destaques também, esse foi um dos meus melhores layouts (na minha opinião) e vocês o que acharam? *o* Comentem :)
