This layout is a bit more girly than my usual work. It also doesn't feature a photo, but I decided to make this layout more like an art journal page than a scrapbook page.

Bra Straps
** NO ONE used a BRA STRAP on their projects!! I double dare you to do it!! (Nikki came the closest, with a photo and her bra showing in it)
*I used alcohol inks on transparency and mounted it on white cardstock. I didn't want to cut up my good bras so I cut up and old one and used ribbon with my bra hardware to make new straps. This layout is very personal to me and was hard to post. enjoy.
This is the base of the layout that supports the hidden yards and the upper layout.
All metal work and welding by the under-signed.....

A quick layout for the GNOME Cookbook I 'Inkscaped' in 10 minutes.
I included a hackergotchi and an introductory text, and allowed space for icons (that's a veggie one I created in 10 seconds... we should start thinking about the icons!)
This recipe is very short -that's why the layout looks a bit empty, specially the sidebar- but most recipes are longer, I guess...
I'm hoping to get the 'look' right of where locos usually stop and drop oil and dust on the line and sleepers, so far ive used just black but I'm yet to be fully satisfied, maybe a bit of dark brown here and there?
I printed the "Iditarod Song" in a curvy format on vellum. I stuck it to a curvy background paper of mounds of snow.

As you will read, my high school years were not fun. This layout symbolizes the pain I went through.
On this layout I used stickles (waterfall & crystal), brads in white and blue, chipboard, a cd to record the song onto encased in a pull out tag w/lyrics. The word INVISIBLE was stamped on acetate and popped off the paper so it has a 'floating' effect.
JOURNALING ON FRONT(TYPED) READS:
I tried so hard to enjoy high school, but so many of you tried to screw it up! I wasn’t like you, I didn’t play the same sports and I wasn’t involved in the same activities. I didn’t fit into your clique. You tried to torture me for your entertainment. You tried with all your might to hurt me and often times you did! One of you even took something that didn’t belong to you …. I didn’t want to give it and now I can never get it back. You turned me into a shell of a girl. You pushed me into depression and self destruction until I just wanted to die. You stole from me those high school years that most treasure. I only wanted to become ………
INVISIBLE
I found solace in the repetitious playing of this heavy metal song by Dio! It made me take look deep within myself. I worked through my misery that you brought me. The lyrics still resonate within me. Payback came, but not by my hand. I wanted you to hurt, like you hurt me! FUCK YOU for all the pain! FUCK YOU for all the humiliation! Time was YOUR dealer. You righteous people who were destined to be succeed and be famous became drunks, perverts, thieves and losers!

The theme for this art journal layout is magick. I made a layout showing some of the runes, with a stamped image of a woman's face in the center. The text on the face reads, "Consult the Runes."

Layout A Day Day 16: Embellishments. Ballpit: Me in 1984. Maybe the photos aren't too plain, but I wanted to use my favorite embellishment, paper, as a fun element on the page. I scraplifted myself which was also scraplifted: www.flickr.com/photos/daniellehunter/4644687461/in/set-72...
I wasn't sure what to do for this prompt. So I just started scrolling through my pics. I kept seeing pics and thinking I believe...but that's not enough for a whole page... After awhile I decided I'd just use several on one layout. It was so fun!
Another view of 3 connected modules and a portion of a 4th all joined together. This layout is very complex. Note the bottom left corner (triangle shape) will be cut out at a later point in the project. Leaving it for now keeps the module square.
A studio may be a tiny itty bitty room apartment that you have to eat and sleep. Because of its small space, arranging a good deal of furniture in it may be a hard task. Of course, because of that, you have to have a clever way that will help you to jammed all of them into your studio. Brace...
