As I said yesterday we went to Solvang today. Solvang is a little "Danish" town north east of Santa Barbara and less than 2 hours driving from Los Angeles. It was a nice drive but we got rain on the way, very rare during this time of the year. We arrived in Solvang just on time to fill our bellies at one of the many restaurants. This time we went to Paula's Pancake House, a nice place with very good food. We were so hungry that we forgot to take pictures of our omelets so you will need to visit the place yourself to see and taste the food ;) This trip was a very nice way to say goodbye to Ky's last weekend of summer vacation... ;)

It was just like the movies, an errant cart clips an end cap of Pellegrino (isn't that italian for danger?) and we hear one box go crash, and the glass shatters. Then another. Then the flood gates open and it sounds like somebody has a Harley in the store. Then the muzak feels loud, as the store goes silent. Then the call goes out "All grocers to the front of the store" And then the looting begins!
Nothing else like 644 motor first.
Thanks to a fault on 645 at Bispham 644 got turned at Cabin and the motor was left to moan for the rest of the day. Thankyou 645
today is june 10th which means another 1000 words is up AND an interview with david over here. what a day!
