Today's word is postposition.
In English we have prepositions. One might say "I live in NY." Here, the word "in" is a preposition because it's positioned before "NY" to which it refers. In some languages, such as Hindi, they are placed after the words they relate to and are known as postpositions.
In English we put adjectives before a noun, as in, hot coffee, but in some languages, such as French, adjectives go after the noun: café chaud. Sometimes we put adjectives postpositively in English too.

In addition to providing our main island as a free resource, we now have a second island which can be used for special language or culture related events such as presentations, workshops, seminars, roundtables, conferences, demos, concerts and parties!
Our new "Paradise Island" can be used free of charge by anyone who needs a private or public space for a large event (maximum 20 avatars). We gladly provide additional support and resources on an as needed basis. We can also modify the look and feel of the island to help create the ideal atmosphere for your event.

At the entrance of a Whole Foods store, I noticed an LCD screen advertising “Animal Welfare Certified” steaks.

The absurdity of words in the ad brought a smile. You’d think anyone who raises a sentient being for the sole purpose of killing her and selling her for parts is probably not out for her welfare. It doesn’t fare well for the cow, no matter how you slice it.
Incongruity in words and action creates violence. Another example is wearing ribbons with the words “Support Our Troops” while dispatching them to die in manufactured wars.
Wow! I must be good with words -- today I have managed to alienate two groups of people in one write-up.

Gestern waren wir mit einigen Studenten im Deutschen Currywurst Museum! Dort teilten wir uns in zwei Teams auf und spielten ein Spiel, das darin bestand, die Antworten auf viele Fragen rund um die Currywurst im Museum zu finden. Wusstet ihr, dass man Currywurst in vielen anderen Teilen der Welt essen kann? Wir konnten auch verschiedene Gewürze riechen, die man auf die Currywurst machen kann und haben ein Computerspiel gespielt, bei dem man so schnell wie möglich Currywurst machen musste. Ah! Und wir konnten auch ein bisschen Currywurst probieren! 😛

Yesterday we went with some students to the German Currywurst Museum! There, we split into two teams and played a game which consisted of finding the answers to many questions about Currywurst in the museum. Did you know that they also eat Currywurst in many other parts of the world? We also got the chance to smell different spices that you can add on them and play a computer game where you had to make Currywurst as quickly as possible. Ah! And we got to try a little bit of Currywurst too! 😛
