At a Language Cafe session, you practise your language skills and cultural awareness by talking to native-level speakers and other learners over a cup of coffee or tea. Språkstudion's language cafes are run by students on a volunteer basis, with no formal language teachers present. Cafe sessions allow you to practise a language you want to improve at in a relaxed environment, regardless of your current level.

The lady in the mobility scooter was out with her husband geting a kebab. He went into the shop. But she did not, scooter would not go up the step.

The couple behind were interesting; he was drunk and pratting around, she was bored and somewhat annoyed. He did not see any of her dissatisfaction and kept on japing about in the way only drunken men think impresses women. I wondered how much longer this relationship had to go.

Whenever I went to a shrine in Japan, I always saw these Ema and wanted to

do one of my own. Though I don't follow Shintoism, I still wanted to

experience writing one and leaving it up at a shrine. When I went to Meiji

Jingu in Shinjuku, Tokyo, they were selling them so I decided to write one.

I made my wish and then placed it on the hanger, and noticed all of the

other ones that were hanging. Some were written in Chinese, French,

Spanish, and Arabic. It was really beautiful to see how many people visit

here and leave their wishes here, in their own native tongue. Though I

don't know how the workers at the shrine feel about the Ema being exploited

for tourists, I was happy to have the opportunity to write one of my own.

As I don't want to disrespect any of the Shinto gods, that will be the

first and last Ema that I write. But I was great to be able to put it up

alongside everyone else's.

Should've made a note - I think it was either that or Phoenician.

Just playing with the yellow light.

I just love the warm of it.

Can't quite figure out the whole message, but I understand some of the words... and it means "Thanks for respecting the solemnity of the Place"... the place where unknown soldiers are placed -- those who died in 1921. I can understand better the second language in the sign.

UNICODE 5.1.0 meets Or-Omcode∞.1.0

Unicode represents the Tower ob Babel en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tower_of_Babel In computing, Unicode is an industry standard allowing computers to consistently represent and manipulate text expressed in most of the world's writing systems. Developed in tandem with the Universal Character Set standard and published in book form as The Unicode Standard, Unicode consists of a repertoire of more than 100,000 characters, a set of code charts for visual reference, an encoding methodology and set of standard character encodings, an enumeration of character properties such as upper and lower case, a set of reference data computer files, and a number of related items, such as character properties, rules for normalization, decomposition, collation, rendering and bidirectional display order (for the correct display of text containing both right-to-left scripts, such as Arabic or Hebrew, and left-to-right scripts). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UniCode

Or-Omcode∞.1.0 represents a new Universal Language de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universalsprache derived within the Doctine Of Essense by

de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karl_Christian_Friedrich_Krause

Encoding Unicode into the Or-Omcode∞.1.0 all traditional languages become semantically transformed within the new universal language parameters. portal.or-om.org/art/UnicodemeetsOrOmCode/tabid/6319/Defa...

Macau was a Portuguese colony - Portuguese is still an official language and thus very visible. Nice, since it's easy to understand (in written form), at least easier than Chinese (in any form)
