Not far from the mouth of the Boyne River, in Co.Louth,Ireland this former Allied Landing Craft rusts slowly into oblivion. I suspect that it was used to lay an outfall pipe well out into the sea when the factory behind it was built in the 1970's but cannot confirm this. Photos taken 09-05-2010
Col. Hank Dodge, U.S. Army Garrison Red Cloud and Area I commander, led his military and civilian staff on an officer professional development tour to the site of Gen. Douglas MacArthur's bold Incheon Landing. The Incheon Landing on Sept. 15, 1950 is typically credited with turning the Korean War in favor of the Allied forces. Republic of Korea Army Col. (Ret.) Yu Sang-shik, who was an 11 years old Incheon resident during the Incheon Landing, talked to the staff about the historical significance of the landing and his impressions of it as a child.

Pelican landing in African aviary at Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, Florida. Had to shoot this one through that danged tiny mesh. Still focused ok though.

I am thinking of putting the hooks above the cute little cube and then either the ledge or the shelf with the door above it. The vases will go on top of whatever shelf I pick.
