Landing at Stehekin at the far end of Lake Chelan. The ferry boat takes passengers up the lake and from there you can get on the bus for the ride up to the boundary of North Cascades National Park. Photo by Thomas O'Keefe.
Little out of focus, but what can you do, still glad I actually captured a duck landing after missing so many before.

The event began with a meal for students and their families, followed by a hands-on science expo in the gymnasium and several fun classroom sessions throughout the evening. JETS serves to energize Montgomery County middle schoolers about careers in science and technology through the use of interactive activities and demonstrations, while relating the material to the MCPS science curriculum.
