Day 93 - November 4, 2009 - Zion National Park, Utah
This is a view of the narrowest section of the Angels Landing Trail. The part in the middle is about 3 feet wide and the canyon floor is 1000+ feet below. The majority of that last 0.5 mile from Scout Lookout to the top of the Angels Landing is NOT exposed (with this spot being the most exposed portion).

Douglas MacArthur's bold Incheon Landing. The Incheon Landing on Sept. 15, 1950 is typically credited with turning the Korean War in favor of the Allied forces. Republic of Korea Army Col. (Ret.) Yu Sang-shik, who was an 11 years old Incheon resident during the Incheon Landing, talked to the staff about the historical significance of the landing and his impressions of it as a child.

We stopped by in Moss Landing on our way back from Big Sur, where we celebrated the life and times of our old friend Steve Gano with a couple dozen close friends and colleagues from the Apple Multimedia Lab.
One of our experiments was Moss Landing, a new multimedia experience that enabled you to visit this small fishing village in Monterey Bay, and discover the many creatures and cultures that live there, as seen through a variety of perspectives. This interactive multimedia title started with a postcard view of the harbor, where you could click on any part of this 'hyperpicture' to jump to different views, from fishing boats to the power plant, seagulls or sea otters.

Taken a couple months back at a great day at the West 90 in Skagit. There were tons of Short-Eared Owls flying about and I managed to get pretty close to them.
