Knitting lace or open patterns is best with a certain tool called a lace needle. Although it looks rather large under the macro lens, it is a smaller and sharper tipped needle that helps the knitter manipulate the yarn into beautiful lace patterns.

This lace is a scrap from my daughter's wedding dress, a Chantilly style of netted lace. The couching apparently was hand sewn.

Amo renda! Acho tão feminina e delicada que depois de muito tempo pesquisando um modelo de blusa legal consegui fazer a minha avó costurar uma pra mim *-* E ainda pedi pra vó fazer uma gola peter-pan pra ela (amo demais essas golas!). Esse foi o resultado final, e eu amei!

Ps: queria ter uma parede colorida aqui no apartamento porque daí apareceria mais a blusa :/
