We were very concerned about a sudden swelling that developed over Oscar's shoulder. He was bright & alert & not sore but had a huge soccer size mass over his shoulder. We thought it was an abscess but it turned out to be fat trapped between layers of muscle. We have sent away a sample to ensure it is only fat & not a nasty fatty tumour.

This was Flipper, my thirteen year old black Labrador Retriever. He was unremarkable in that he looked like tens of thousands of other black Labs, but what made him unique was that he was mine. A week ago I euthanized him to forego the pain of cancer. The following pics are my last week with him. He was a good dog.
