This was Flipper, my thirteen year old black Labrador Retriever. He was unremarkable in that he looked like tens of thousands of other black Labs, but what made him unique was that he was mine. A week ago I euthanized him to forego the pain of cancer. The following pics are my last week with him. He was a good dog.
Do you believe that they forgot about my 4th birthday on the 8th of December??
I'll forgive them though as they took such a good care of me while I was so sick...and look how beautiful I am now!!!
and Mom promissed me that soon she'll let me go into the pool!!

I realised while sorting pics to put on a card for my new digital frame, I'd not posted many photos of Woody, so, here he is :~)
He came to live with us after his owner (a gamekeeper) passed away from cancer. A friends then partner took him, and we were asked if we could take him. He's just a beautiful dog & been with us a couple of years now...but it seems like he's always been here...my jrt's love him....
