Alex and Tara took Chloe for routine vaccinations and a check up, she had not been her usual boisterous self, we thought she was calming down with age (she was 7) but the vet discovered cancer of the liver and spleen. Too far gone for treatment, she would have been in a lot of pain from here on.
He sadly recommended euthanasia... It was a sad day

Just thought this would make a fun Christmas card to family and friends :) Taken with a cheap Sony H20 point and shoot camera when we had a ton of snow of my boys 'bob and marley'. They are brothers from the same litter of labradors where the mother had 5 black labs and 3 yellow labs. Bob is the black lab and Marley is the yellow lab :)
Playing with my shiny new Canon 50mm f1.8 lens. I knew the depth of field was shallow but until I looked at this shot full-size I didn't realize HOW shallow it actually was. Might have some fun with this lens...
