Are you trying to start your own product line or a #smallbusiness? Thinking of a new and great concept for a product can already be very challenging, but after that, there is also marketing the product to worry about.
Of course, you wouldn't want your product to look cheap or low-quality right? So the best way is to have an eye-catching and pleasant to the eyes packaging and label. After all, when potential #customers come to the store or browse online to see your product, the first thing that they will is the #labeling and packaging and not really what is inside. It doesn't really matter how great or efficient your product is, if your packaging and labeling sucks, then the chances are nobody will buy it, or so few will purchase that you will be forced to close down shop.
The good news is, there are plenty of ways to have a high quality and eye-catching packaging and labeling that can be afforded by everyone as well as easy to get packaging supplies, even those who are just starting up their business!
Use a Natural Color Palette – nature-inspired colors is all the buzz lately, especially when partnered up with some good labeling. This features something similar to a minimalist design which makes it look even more elegant.
Simplify #Packaging with easy-peasy #labels – When customers look at the packaging and label with so many texts, chances are they wouldn't really read it because their eyes wouldn't know where to look. So it is much better to add simple yet eye-catching labeling.
Think about the full packaging range – the packaging of your product isn't only limited to the outside but also to the inside, it really matters to customers how the item is represented inside the box once they open their purchase.
Black and white are #elegant and refreshing – And unisex. That's the most critical part. When it comes to toiletries and other personal things, even in 2017, colors still define sexuality, so each gender tends to have a set of colors they prefer, but black and white always sells to both women and men.
Combine minimalist style and #photography – photography for great images and minimalist for a more simplistic approach, because minimalist style makes the customers focus more on the label or the product itself.
Your packaging can be your #ad – You can use your packaging as a walking ad especially when you provide customers with a paper bag that has your store or product's logo on it, that way when they walk around, people will see and get familiar with your logo.
Let typography sell the product - Let the ancient art of origami make profits for you – This is one art form that has endured through all the years and never becomes outdated.
Use of patterns – patterned style packaging always reminds people of delicate designs and other leisure. The patterned style is a fantastic way to promote your product as it is also pleasant to the eyes of most people, regardless of gender and age.
Be artistic – hand-drawn logos and labeling are always a winner for customers. It makes them feel that you are more hands on to your product and you are truly passionate about it, and that is attractive to customers. And if you're already an artist yourself, most likely you wouldn't have to worry a lot anymore about packaging supplies.
I don't approve of defacing prosperity, but it seems that there is a talent to this, and it's often cleared off quickly. Seen under the bridge of highway 94.
I have always been a big fan of wine label design. :::loves wine tasting too::: I've been studying wine labels more than normal due to my work on Odonatia's winery, Dark Palms. I have come to the conclusion recently though that I would really like to get into the industry as a label designer someday. These are some of the ones I found really interesting because of shape, color or overall composition...

These labels were applied in the picture area near each head and tail of a five-reel film. This well-intentioned idea to prevent mixing up the reels creates a big distraction to the patron who sees the screen black out twice as the labels fly by with each reel change.
Removing these labels took a considerable amount of scraping with a fingernail and cleaning off residual goo with a film cleaner.
The best way to mark reel numbers on a 35mm print made up for platter or large-reel projection is to mark the edge of the film with a ultra-fine-tip permanent marker.
Clothing Labels are great for items with tags that are washed frequently because the clothing labels are laundry safe. There is no ironing required and the clothing labels are also removable.
