A watch, especially a complication like this one, comes with many labels to identify the various parameters of time. This Oris moon phase, dual time zone complication is powered by the Calibre 581 developed in 1991 by its watchmakers in Holstein, Switzerland.. This particular watch has performed flawlessly through many time zones for many years. Submittal for the 6/15/20 Macro Monday's theme of "Label.”

(12/365) I do enjoy a glass of wine but almost as much I enjoy the beautiful labels, I've photographed a dozen or more over the past couple of years (see my Booze & Food album). This just happens to be Australian again! Don't get all big headed DaveSPN. I don't very often buy the wines in question (as was the case today) because they are mostly out of my price range.

Since it was not readily apparent, I wanted to clarify that this is a 3" section of the inner zipper on a hand bag. Shot on a 40mm macro lens for this week's #label theme in #macromonday.
Here is a scan of a recent addition to my collection of original vintage color slides. – This red-bordered Kodachrome transparency was not labeled with the date or location, which unfortunately is far too common with these old slides. - The Madison sign on the roof of that lumber yard shed shows the town name, but just about every state has a town or city named Madison.
Once again I relied on the license plate to provide a clue, the silver with black numbers/letters and “COMMERCIAL” across the top with a light green renewal tag in the lower right corner of the plate was the type issued by the state of Connecticut for the years 1952 through 1955.
If this is in the state of Connecticut, then this is the town of Madison which is located on the shoreline of Long Island Sound, and the railroad signal bridge behind the lumber yard sheds would be the double-track mainline of the New Haven Railroad.
Of course, the reason I wanted this slide was because of the main subject being a vintage Diamond T dump truck, how cool is that old workhorse ? - Like many truck manufacturers of this era, the same basic design was used for stretches of many years.
This style was used by Diamond T on some of their light to medium duty models from the year 1938 clear through 1950 with only very slight variations. – The four horizontal chrome trim strips on the side of the hood (instead of three) may narrow this one down to the model years of 1945 through 1948.
And check out that incredible grille guard ! - With its Diamond T emblem fabricated right in and two large circles for the headlights in the design, I don’t know if this one was a dealer accessory back then, or custom made by a skilled welder, but it is certainly one of the finest looking truck grille guards that I have ever seen.
