The brief was to create something that was funny that could be given out as a Christmas gift to employees. The final label must still communicate the message of wine in some way. The idea was that the humanised grape on the front label was distressed about his friend on the back label being squished.
The illustrations were made in Adobe Illustrator.
so the macromonday theme for today, 6/15, is label and i've been busily shooting pictures of labels on, attached to, and stamped on products. be prepared for a lot of them to show up in my photostream before i make up my mind :)

Commercial machine. Takes no cartridges, only rolls of 1/2" tape, including metal tape. Tape feeds under the handle.
James Foot's exhibition of watercolours at the Image Gallery, Amalias Avenue, Athens. The wine served came from the Monemvasia Winery and featured James' paintings on the labels.
I noticed this on the side of a bottle of Tesco probiotic yoghurt stuff.
Allergy Advice:
Contains milk - Duh, it's a yoghurt!
Recipe: No Nuts - Duh, it's a yoghurt, made from milk!
Ingredients: Cannot guarantee nut free - huh? Milk, sugar, strawberry, inulin (Not very nutty), Flavouring (it's not nutty!) and Aronia juice (fruit, not nut!)
Factory: no nuts - it's a yoghurt factory!
So, how nutty is a strawberry yoghurt?
Got my woven labels just in time for BlytheCon! I've been busy sewing today, I'll have about 50 pieces for BCon.
