The primary function of an ART laboratory is to provide an optimal environment for gametes and embryos. To set up an ART laboratory, that is efficient and safe, the three key areas to focus on would be the place or location of the laboratory, the embryologists, and the protocols or quality control. ivfworld.wordpress.com/2015/06/22/ivf-icsi-iui-art-lab-se...

Fertility is an emotional but an important economic family decision, and like all economic decisions has long been considered an appropriate and important subject of analysis by economists. Infertility is recognized and classified as a disease and is on rise over the last few years. More and more couples are approaching fertility clinics with the problem of infertility.http://www.shivaniivf.com

A critical component in the treatment of infertility is the IVF lab. The IVF lab handles the patient’s eggs and sperm, creates embryos, in some cases facilitates genetic testing and prepares the embryos for transfer.https://ivfworld.wordpress.com/2015/06/22/ivf-icsi-iui-art-lab-setup-embryology-art-technology-in-fertility-clinic/

This is what it looks like from the front. It's pretty huge for something you're supposed to use out in the field.

Visited Cass Tech, among other places, yesterday with Detroit Derek ( www.flickr.com/photos/detroitderek/4229502063/ ) and Rob ( www.flickr.com/photos/16939591@N04/ ). We had a great and adventurous day and I'm redady to do it all over again.

The integral part of any fertility clinic is its IVF laboratory. Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) followed by fertility and infertility experts requires thorough knowledge and expertise in the field of ART.https://ivfworld.wordpress.com/2015/06/22/ivf-icsi-iui-art-lab-setup-embryology-art-technology-in-fertility-clinic/

light guides from another calorimeter prototype. in a full detector you'd stick a PMT (photo-multiplier tube, a PMT) onto the left end to collect the light that was produced in the block on the right.

Making our own personal Scotch blended malt whisky, which we bottled and brought home. The set-up itself made the old science geek in me happy – graduated cylinders, flasks, test tubes, beakers. It was great fun! There were four women and three men in our group and it was very interesting to find out that all of us women made blends consisting of single malts # 1 and # 2 with a little bit of # 5 (in varying proportions) whereas all the men made blends from predominantly malts # 4 and # 5.

I shot these with an old vintage Nikkor 35mm f/1.4 ai-s lens. This manual focus lens isn't great for action, but is amazing for things that don't move that much. The focus ring is direct and smooth as butter and so easy to use. Without a motor to wind against, even a SWM, it's silent and great for shooting video. It's all-metal construction is bulletproof and has a great Japanese-made feel.
