Lab'O Leather...lol
Timber is such a funny boy...he comes up with new things every day to make us laugh.
Another lab photo, this one showing some of the vintage analog equipment in the lab. There's a dc power supply, and a Panasonic am/fm/cassette/record player. Unfortunately the turntable on the latter is warped beyond usability, and one of the output channels is dead. But the radio still works, somehow picking up stations despite being two stories underground (apparently someone has run an antenna up to the surface).
Also in the picture: a tube of Apiezon L vacuum grease; a dummy sample box with a chip inside; a cassette tape.
Dominic got to be part of the control group at UofM's Motor Development Lab (Dept. of Kinesiology). He got to be coo'd over by grad students and walk on a baby treadmill. A BABY TREADMILL.

Elliot and I have been learning about electronics lately, since our visit to a workshop in NYC last summer. She's planning on doing something with this knowledge for her upcoming science fair at school, so she's been working to figure out how things go. "Crazy Labs" is the name she's given to our lab, which is also my music room.
This is part of my modular synth.
