Compared to the fifth generation, the "C6" gets an overhaul of the suspension geometry, all new bodywork with exposed headlamps (for the first time since 1962), a larger passenger compartment, a larger 6.0 L engine, and a much higher level of refinement. Overall, it is 5.1 inches (13 cm) shorter than the C5, but its wheelbase has increased by 1.2 inches (3 cm). It is also one inch (2.5 cm) narrower. Chevrolet hopes the new design will attract buyers of comparable European sports cars like the Porsche 911, but some purists dislike the new styling. The 6.0 L LS2 V8 produces 400 hp (298 kW) at 6000 rpm and 400 lb·ft (542 N·m) of torque at 4400 rpm.
For the 2008 model, the Corvette receives a new engine, the LS3. With displacement increased to 6.2 liters, power is increased to 430 hp (321 kW) and 424 lb·ft (575 N·m) of torque, or 436 hp (325 kW) and 428 lb·ft (580 N·m) with the optional vacuum actuated valve exhaust.
The limited-edition Falcon F7 by Falcon Motorsports out of Holy Michigan is a masterpiece of American engineering. It is sporting a 620hp 427cu.in. V8 (LS7) with a 0-60mph in 3.3 sec. and weighing in at 2725lbs.

I've photograpged this car on Circuit Park Zandvoort, during the 10th edition of the MaartenMemorial 2013. The MaartenMemorial is a fantastic supercar drive dedicated to raising funds for cancer research. I've had an absolute blast that day with over 100 Spykers, Ferrari's, Porsche's, Lamborghini, Bristol, BMW's, Lotus', Ariel's, etc. etc.

LS7, 1985 Chiswick worksand looking fantastic.
This was i believe the earliest Mk1 LT had and it was last in service at West Ham. where before it was sold on had been painted into a nice red with gold relief around the windows. coach seats fitted along with nice new wooden floors. It was going to be part of a route to docklands D1-D4. needless to say it didnt happen and was put on any route

Lingenfelter Performance Engineering showcased their Twin-Turbo Camaro SS at the SEMA 2011 carshow in Las Vegas, US. The twin-turbocharged sports car has a 427 cid LS7 Twin Turbo engine, producing 800 horsepower and 800 lbs-feet of torque.
The tire smoking monster has been fitted with a wide spread of upgrades. The 2010 LS7 Camaro L28 package includes twin GT30R turbochargers in a 7.0 liter V8 that has an 8.8:1 compression ratio, an air-to-air intercooler, forged JE pistons, a GM LS7 crankshaft, titanium connecting rods, LS7 cylinder heads with titanium intake valves and Inconel exhaust valves, a Lingenfelter low-temperature thermostat, and custom Lingenfelter coil covers.
Other changes to the Camaro SS are a Lingenfelter 6-bolt LS9 twin-disk clutch and flywheel assembly, Lingenfelter Camaro SS twin-pump fuel system with Lingenfelter pump controller, heavy-duty half-shafts from Driveshaft Shop, Brembo brake calipers and rotors, a CORSA stainless exhaust, Hotchkis suspension springs, anti-sway bars, and a subframe brace.
On the outside the US tuner fitted a new front-fascia splitter, rocker extensions, a new hood with a functioning air inlet, a rear deck lip and spoiler, and a rear fascia extension. The car gets custom wheels, and Nitto 275/40ZR20 tires up front and Nitto 315/35ZR20 tires at the back.
