First time out, and he’s already winning awards? A big congrats to Mike Redpath for winning the “Best Ride on BFGs” award, at this weekend’s Goodguys Lone Star Nationals, with his just-completed LS6-powered Musclerodz & Customz ’69 Camaro on an Art Morrison chassis, Speedtech suspension, Wilwood disc brakes, BFGoodrich tires, and Forgeline GZ3R wheels finished with Hyper Silver centers, Polished outers, and bolt-on Competition Center Caps!
Whilst the Olympic torch was getting paraded through Leeds a passerby tried to put the flame out with a bucket of water. The Police soon took him down and the flame remained lit.

2002 Mustang powertrain converted to Chevrolet 370ci 6.0L (bored .030, stock stroke, LS6 heads and cam, LS2 intake manifold, 92mm throttle body) and an f-body T56, 3.73 gears, Ford Racing differential, Flowmaster exhaust.
Mosler MT900 in Bright White with color matched Dymags. This car was completed a while ago but I haven't taken any photos of it until now. One thing that's different about this one is that it has the roof scoop extended to the edge of the windshield.
I ran the face painting stall with 2 ladies from Leeds Older Active People. I trained them in how to face paint, then together with them we painted about 80 faces on the day!
Hyde Park Unity Day is a community celebration that takes place each summer in Hyde Park (since 1996).
Unity Day was established by local residents who wanted to try and regain a more positive image of the community after riots in 1995.
Each year Unity Day sources over 100 bands, musicians, artists and community groups, all from right here in LS6 to celebrate the talent and diversity that makes up our community.
