A Light Painting of a Light Painting! (Tunnel Vision ... One of my own personal favorites!) :-)

I think Phil has narrowed in on the delay issues we were having with the dual RGB LED Strips!

Light Painting - Single Exposure

Amazing resale shop find, I remember my brother owning this as a cassette and me listening to it as a 12-year old kid. LP features the Stevie Wonder duet "Ebony and Ivory".

Way before the age of Ipods and downloading, there were these wild things called RECORDS! Being Mod gals, Christie, P.J., Stacey and Barbie are having an LP party, all in their groovy knit get-ups. They brought along all their favourite albums, Courtesy of the fabulous Ingrid (RomitaGirl67) ...Thanks again Ingrid!!!...My gals are really digging them, as you can see! (BTW The knit dresses that Stacey and P.J. are wearing came in a lot that included the Hair Fair's Japan TNT body and some other things..all for $15!!! I LOVE lots...especially when I'm broke!)

Shot from the balcony at the house up on the hill by the lake. Will change aperture & iso settings next time. Straight out of camera. Minor adjustions like whites, brightness, & contrast. Camera settings: f/7 - ISO 250 - 53 seconds

Comments:

One of the legendary early UK rock and r&b albums.

In the US version there were the hit-singles: Satisfaction and Last Time (not included in the UK version). Their 3rd LP (charts: UK#2, US#1) did quite well. The guitar riff in Satisfaction with the fuzz-box was the first time here. (Satisfaction was the only tune they played of this LP at the Olympic Stadium concert last summer here in Finland.)

Trivia: The composers Naker-Phelge are the pseudonyms of Jagger & Richard on tracks 6, 9, 10, 11.

Trivia: There were differed versions in US and UK. This is the US version. The tracks were a bit different and covers too.

This was originally my brother's LP - he bought it in '65 - and I got it a bit later, when he became a jazz fan...

By Matt Ellis

The LP's I kept when we moved - the ones I wanted - were flooded as our wash sewer line clogged. Luckily it wasn't the toilet line ;) ... but it was shower water, dishwasher water, clothes wash water... The LPs covers have started to grow some fuzz. I'm not sure what to do, take them out doors into some dry warm place and let them dry, buy a DJ cartridge that tracks at 4 grams? Meanwhile I don't like the dark stain that is on the walls of the basement... that can be expensive.

So anyway, Spirit uses water to teach us. in this case it is about non-attachment and humbleness. Or the value of non physical music storage?
