This was part of a Low Precipitation Supercell. Low Precipitation refers to the updraft base where air is sucked in - which is the low hanging bit on the left. This rising moist air eventually falls as hail and rain in front of the storm. You can see a bit of rotation on the clouds here however LP supercells don't tend to produce tornadoes.
Had a meet with mr. Sig551 at some old farm ruins in the middle of the woods in my home town.

The infamous Gnomie arrived on my doorstep in Surrey UK armed with his V24 and demaded to participate in a spot of OCD light painting. It was an honour to work with the little fella before he swiftly departed to the tax free haven that is Guernsey and the next leg of his worldwide travels.
