Steel wool is highly addictive!! Night session in Toranda with some friends...
I heard on the radio this morning that it was vinyl day (turns out its National Record Shop day, to celebrate independent record sellers) - anyway, that was the inspiration for todays diary photo - dust off one of our many LPs, and dust off the record player.
You couldn't set this sort of shot up with an MP3 player!
Self portrait with LP. Given the hot weather and mosquitos I opted for an indoor shot in the AC where I could blast some music and play with light :) The hallway to my front door seemed to be the perfect spot for some cool shadowing.

Esto es un experimento para un concurso en Light Painting España. Resultó ser una foto de las más complejas de ejecutar que tengo. Habiendo caleidoscopio TCB por medio garantizas que no va a salir a la primera. 'Lens Cap Trick' para cambiar el enfoque y el encuadre durante la exposición, y muchas pruebas para conseguir que todo más o menos encajara en su sitio, para hacer una única exposición y no una superposición de imágenes. La verdad, que entre preparativos y pruebas tuve entretenido 3 horas, espero no haber cogido frÃo, y espero que os guste. Es un experimento que se aleja bastante de mi habitual jajjaa

I had the LP itch, so messed around in the backyard a bit, did help for some hours.
Upcoming night my brother is coming along on a little LP adventure and the night after that Mr. Sig551 is in town so that should be great fun.

Foto en la que estábamos trabajando Gus y yo con la segunda cámara de JanLeo, cuando JAn nos hizo una visita, pudimos añadir un lighter más :) Grandes momentos con estos dos elementos..
Gus and I were working on this photo with JanLeo's second camera. When he showed up we had a new lighter on the scene :) these were all great times with them.

Boda de uno de mis mejores amigos desde la infancia, Javi, con su ahora mujer Juliana. En medio de la fiesta improvisamos en pleno centro de La Haya un photocall de lightpainting muy interesante y divertido.
Gracias a Michael Kelly por su ayuda en toda esta sesión. Con la luz de la calle y sin su ayuda para agilizar no hubiera sido posible.
Wedding of one of my best friends since childhood in The Hague (Den Haag), Javi, now married to Juliana. During the celebration party, I decided to improvise a LP Photo Call with the help of my photographer friend Michael Kelly, who helped me with the lighting, and without him and with so much light this would have been impossible.
