I've said it before, and I'll surely be repeating it for the foreseeable future, but, the word "road" in New Brunswick, can mean many things to many people, and one of those meanings is not necessarily "road" in the traditional sense. lol
I should have known from the name of the "road" that this was gonna be another fun trip. The bridge is located on, aptly named, Swamp Road. It started out paved (for about 30 feet), switched to gravel/dirt, then to a Swiss cheese (full of basketball sized holes)surface, and then devolved into a rutted, slippery, bumpy amusement park ride. To be honest, I've seen worse, but that was the 60s in New Mexico. Swamp Rd. was not a "road" for the faint of heart, and fortunately it was mostly down hill to the bridge. We couldn't have made it in a car, but my 4x4 F150 had no real trouble. Come to find out, if we had come from the other direction, the roads were comparatively reasonable. Story of my life. I believe that my covered bridge count is up to 12, may have forgotten one or two. I have a list of the next 10 or so that I want to shoot. I realized, while counting my 'accomplishment', that I had not posted all the bridges we had seen so far. The name of this bridge is the Marven Bridge, and it spans Belleisle Creek.
I hope you'll enjoy the my images as much as I enjoyed taking them.
Baby swans, or cygnets, hatch covered in a thick down. They're able to run and swim after just hours, but their parents remain very protective over them in the early months of their life. Baby swans are typically dusky grey all over with a soft, fluffy coat and grey-black bill. They have small black feet. All cygnets have this appearance, and the babies of different species can be very hard to tell apart.
Cygnets are covered in white or grayish down, and can swim and dive about 24 hours after hatching. Their mothers and fathers share parental care, frequently carrying the cygnets on their backs, with their wings curled protectively over their babies.
How big is a baby swan?
Baby swans weigh around 250g and are approximately 20cm long. They’re the largest of the baby waterfowl, though they are similarly sized to geese chicks. After six months, they already reach around 6kg, reaching their maximum weight of about 14kg after around 3 to 4 years. Swans are very large and heavy birds - the Trumpeter swan is one of the heaviest flying birds in the world!
How do swans feed their cygnets?

At what age can cygnets fly?
Cygnets are grey when they hatch with black beaks and gradually turn brown over the first six months at which time they learn to fly. By one year old they are predominantly white but the beak remains grey/pink. Full white plumage and orange beak come with maturity.
Why are some baby swans GREY and some white?
A baby swan or cygnet has a grey feathered coat until it reaches about 20 pounds. Then it too will become snowy white like its parents. The black necked swan is native to South America.
Where do swans go when they leave their parents?
Where do cygnets go when they leave their parents? They normally join the first flock of swans they encounter where they usually stay until they mature when about 4 years old.

Baby, I'll learn to touch you
I wanna breathe into your well
See, I gotta to hunt you
I gotta to bring you to my hell
Baby, I wanna fuck you,
I WANNA FEEL YOU IN MY BONES
Boy, I'm gonna love YOU
I'M GONNA TEAR INTO YOUR SOUL
DESIRE, I'm hungry
I hope you feed me

how do you want me, how do you want me?
how do you want me, how do you want me?
how do you want me, how do you want me?

That's correct—the scene is not at the end of the day. We had so much smoke from local forest fires that ended up blocking the sun—so much so, in fact, that we had a day without . . .
I hope you'll enjoy the my images as much as I enjoyed taking them.

So I'll leave you with a little bit of Finnegan shenanigans! :-)
Dad's going in the hospital for a few days (I swear we're taking turns lol) He needs a neck artery cleared out...but they say if all goes as planned he should only be a day or two as an in-patient. But I have to help him pack and get ready etc...(the VA hosp is in another city) then there's recovery time. So I'll not have much time to comment or make responses for a little bit.
It's hard to pull myself away! I've come to love Flickr and the WONDERFUL friends I've met here so much!!!! Thank you all, and I hope to be back very soon :-).
:You're so pretty when you're faithful to me:
So. Tired. I'll have to catch up on comments, tomorrow. :)
The LL-535 was a later Federation design, quickly mobilisable, adaptable to many environments, and armed with enough tools to repel most Blacktron raids, at least until the larger ships could be mobilised.
The 40th anniversary of Classic Space continues! And there are plenty more builds to come over the next few weeks and months...
This windscreen that I initially found so strange, has turned out to be rather fruitful for me (and there's another build using it to come!). The ship was started at the same time as the LL-515 but sat on the shelf a while longer until I knew what to do for the wings.

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a great start to your weekend. Today I will be sharing the fourth set of photos of my personal LL Home. I am working away today on a client project that is about 90% complete, so I’ll be making this a shorter post so that I can get back to work!
In this set of photos, you are getting a peak into my LL home’s living room and foyer. Just like the rest of my home, I’ve opted to work with a black & white colour scheme throughout, with subtle pops of steel blue to add some contrast to the space. European white oak flooring and art deco styled marble tile in the foyer top off the space and add some warmth.
I just wanted to mention that I have taken these photos myself in Black Dragon! The amazing & lovely Sean is still our beloved photographer at The Design Firm, however, I am trying to better myself and learn a new skill, which happens to be SL photography! It’s a hobby at best, so you can rest assured that I am not coming for Sean’s job hahaha!
As I say in all of my posts, thank you all for the continued support that is shown to our small team here at The Design Firm. It means an absolute ton to us <3
Lastly, I always recommend viewing my photos in full screen mode when able! This allows you to see the true depth and detail of the spaces that my colleagues and I create for our clients.
It's not so easy to make a decent photo of two fairly large models, when you have a) limited space, b) limited size of the landing pad and c) limited size of the background sheet.
I'll be posting last years pics daily for a while, sort of a second string of fall 2015.
Once the signs of fall arrive here in the Niagara region I'll be posting nice fresh fall photos.

ll re nostro, protagonismo
ci controlla e ci redime,
