Ivy's dream of being a Matrix-style hero gave her an exciting idea! She asked her sister Evilyn if she would try to levitate her using her telekinesis.
Evilyn didn't think it would be possible, but after a week of being constantly pestered by Ivy, she agreed to try. She found that as long as Ivy lay still and stiff as a statue, she managed to raise her up!

Time is our your side... As long as it's here... You're going to find her street... LEVITATE..."
This is my first attempt on levitation photography. My daughter lies on a chair, which is removed in photoshop. I also used two strobes (SB900) on each side to make her stand out from the background. The location is Trandumskogen near Jessheim, Norway. The concrete walls where build and used by the Germans during WWII to test fire their tanks.

Proyecto Teleidoscope: 24/52: Levitation / Levitación
We haven’t heard anything about Levitation for a bit, so I thought we’d rectify this shortcoming. We are looking at Ms. House Finch on the left and our old acquaintance Mr. Nuthatch who, as we all know by now, is a master of this sort of activity. Interestingly enough, here we can observe him at interspecies communication where he passes on his knowledge to the Finch by levitating a seed above his own head for demonstration purposes. Ms Finchess seems completely baffled by this but not totally averse to the idea. The other intriguing thing about this shot is that there is not the slightest trace of softness around the Nuthatch’s head area where I suspect the levitation waves are originating. My anti-light-wave-bending technology is working supremely well here. Last, but not least, we are actually featuring a Nuthatch here (Red-breasted) in a feeding position that may seem natural to us but is completely opposite to the way he usually feeds, which is actually upside down. I guess he felt that his demonstration would be better received if he acted more like a Finch would. Very clever, actually. When in Rome, speak Latin. Since I know of no recent Latin songs or any for that matter, we’ll go with one of the derivatives of this language …
Yes, I know this would go much better with a shot of a dove but I don’t want to wait that long.

I did this in Photoshop Elements 11 using photomerge. I think there’s another way way to do it, but it took me an hour to figure it out this way. The breakthrough is that I actually FIGURED IT OUT BY MYSELF! I’m not happy with where the sun is in this, but I’ve been under the weather all week, and wanted to get this done in the morning before my energy flagged.
I decided this will also work for the 115 Pictures in 2015 Theme “Surreal/Fantasy”

My first attempt at levitation and it turned out just as awful as I expected. If you have any tips on how to do it better, I would really appreciate it.
in 2020, the Valley Railroad shop forces continued with the rebuild of Consolidation #97. With the boiler rebuild project being completed in October 2018, next up was wheels and running gear. Seen here the shop crew lifted the locomotive off of the wheel set to remove them. They would soon make their way to Strasburg, PA to have new axles installed, crank pins fabricated and installed and returned in near-new condition.
