Vor Jahren hatte ich Lust Ölmalen auszuprobieren, habe mir diese Leinwand (60x60cm) genommen und habe mit den Pyramiden, Moscheekuppeln und den Häusern begonnen... Dann stand das begonnene Werk eine Zeitlang unvollendet in der Ecke. Und im Winter 2007 habe ich angefangen mit Acrylfarben zu malen. So habe ich das "Ägyptenspektakel" wie ich es nenne, mit einzelnen Scenen in Anlehnung an eigene Fotos in Acryl vollendet.

Years ago I wanted to try oil painting, took this canvas (60x60cm) and started with the pyramids, mosque domes and the houses ... Then the work I had started stood for a while unfinished in the corner. And in the winter of 2007 I started painting with acrylic paints. So I finished the "Egyptian spectacle" as I call it, in acrylic with individual scenes based on my own photos.

Ich trage 5 Ausgangsfarben - die bekannten Farbtöne wie im Computerdrucker - auf die leere, weiß grundierte Malfläche und lasse daraus das Bild entstehen. Das Gemälde zeigt die entstandene Malpalette und die dargestellten Bildgegenstände nebeneinander.
Vielleicht lässt sich der Arbeits-prozess des Bildermalens ablesen.
I am wearing 5 basic colors - the well-known shades as in a computer printer - on the empty, white primed paint surface and let it form the picture. The painting shows the created painting palette and the pictorial objects side by side.
Perhaps the process of painting the picture can be read off.

Mitten im alten NDSM-Werftgelände befindet sich das größte Street-Art-Museum der Welt. Die riesigen Backsteinfassaden des Straat Museums bieten eine spektakuläre Leinwand für bunte Graffitikunst.
Die meisten der über 150 Kunstwerke wurden von mehr als 130 Künstlern vor Ort im Straat Museum selbst angefertigt – einige davon erstrecken sich über die gesamte Fassade der alten NDSM-Werft, die als beeindruckende Kulisse für die bunten Werke wie geschaffen ist.

The largest street art museum in the world is located in the middle of the old NDSM shipyard. The Straat Museum's huge brick facades provide a spectacular canvas for colorful graffiti art.
Most of the 150+ artworks were made by more than 130 on-site artists at the Straat Museum - some of which span the entire façade of the old NDSM shipyard, which is made to provide an impressive backdrop for the colorful works.
In addition to the spectacular presentation with huge screens and unique lighting, the exhibition makes the stories and backgrounds of artists and works of art visible.
It is fascinating how world-class modern art is created from thousands of spray cans and liters of paint.

Diese Art Scheinwerfer befanden sich damals auf dem Kaufhaus Galeries Lafayette in Rouen gegenüber der Kathedrale, die Monet gemalt hat.

Seit meinen Studentenzeiten bin ich oft in andere Wohnungen umgezogen und ich musste schon viel renovieren - nicht nur die Wohnungen. Die neuen Umgebungen öffneten auch meinen Blick für vielerlei zu Gedanken zum Leben.
