An update to LEGO set 42126 with updated suspension, 4x4 drive, and a V-8 engine.

Instructions at rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-90723/thirdwigg/lego-42126-rapto...

Lego Technic MOC - Mad Max War Rig. The scale is 1:20,8. Total length – 120 cm; total weight – 5120 g. Remote controlled functions: all-wheel drive, truck tractor steering, fake engines under the hood, blade height control, the winch, truck tractor coupling, large tank support, large tank steering. So we can drive without truck tractor :)

Additional functions: opening doors for LiPo turning on and off, highly detailed exterior, wheels protection, working harpoon on the small tank, flame-throwers (not working).

As manufactured by the Best Company, San Leandro, California, around 1905. Some of these behemoths remain preserved, even operational. Best merged with the Holt Company (known for their tracked vehicles) in 1925, to become Caterpillar.

The Best traction engines are easyly recognized by their three-wheeled design and their upright boiler - the horizontal tank is a water container. Other than that, the design was pretty antiquated for its time, with no brakes, no gear shift, and a top speed of about 4mph.

The most prominent Best engine is "Old Dinah", purchased in 1894 for hauling borax through Death Valley. Today it can bee seen sitting at Furnace Creek, in a pretty desolate state.

Another preserved engine, the very one that inspired me to this build, is nicknamed "Susanpuffer" and can be seen in action here on youtube:

My model is remote-controlled and powered by a BuWizz.

Looking back on the original version of this guy I honestly don't know what I was thinking. But I am so f*ckin' happy with this new version! I hope ya'll like him too.

The front of the U5000. As you can see a lot of influence for the body came from the model by aro-kal (http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=388504)

I know I have been serious about moccing for most of the year so far, but since I'm young and still developing, my hormones tell me to make things like this.

Another small project to keep with the OCTAN theme.

This is my next supercar, the fictional Ferrari 424, a front engine, GT car. In line with many of my other supercar designs, this model uses many technic features to create a car that will function as much like a real car as possible, without sacrificing any aesthetic constraints. The car features four wheel independent suspension. The rear wheel drive is linked to the working V-8 through a functional four-speed transmission using the changeover from 8880. Steering is linked to the drivers position. Features both opening hood to reveal dual-cam V-8, and working doors for easy access to the cabin, complete with typical Ferrari supple leather.

The taste of shame is what Kenzero loves the most. The Kenzero Twins work together, one half investigating, uncovering every deepest secret of their victim, just so the other half can reveal everything as loud as it can, to everyone. If you have something to hide, it's already too late: everybody will know what you've done.

#Shiptember This is a mini model of a warship from a Sci Fi novel that I'm currently working on. I am no good when it comes to system building, so please forgive this thing's mediocrity.

Thi is my Lego MOC "Red Rocket Motorcycle". I started with the Lego Technic 42036 Set and after making the "B" model I got the idea to make an almost MOC.

I the frame and the engine are quite the same as the 42036 set. I said "quite" because I changed the inclination of the fork and i made a "more accurate and realistic" part of the engine. I took a lot of pieces from other sets (not only technic set) as you could see for the tank. In making this "cafe racer" I tried to mantain the lines as clean as possible. Any remarks and suggestion to improve the MK I are welcome! :-)
