After my LEGO Technic Feller-Buncher I've decided to create one more forest tractor – it's John Deere Skidder 648L. Skidder is a type of heavy vehicle used in a logging operation for pulling cut trees out of a forest. Unfortunately the scale of my skidder differs from the scale of the Feller-Buncher because there are no such a big wheels in Lego. Maximum dimensions: 50x18x22 cm, clearance – 2.5 cm, the weight – 1660 g, the scale 1:19. There are nine PF motors, four IR receivers and one LiPo in my model. We have eight RC functions here.

A mechanical seeder to attached to the rear PTO of the Atmos Tractor.

It's a Lego Technic scale model of Bucket Wheel Excavator ER-1250. The scale is 1:41. The excavator has eight remote controlled functions and 14 electric motors. The dimensions: 123x42x56 cm, total weight – 7,8 kg.

First Lego project post college. I had to have everything a car would. Working V-8 and transmission. Rear wheel drive with four wheel independent suspension, including sway bars. All four doors open, as do the hood, the trunk, the sunroof, the glove box, and the center console. Model includes a full size spare, and six way adjustable seats. So many more pictures at my brickshelf page. Check them out.

Mercedes Benz Arocs truck comprising of 2,793 pieces.

This set has motorised functions which are connected with a multitude of cogs, wheels and thin plastic tubes.

The motor works, but none of the functions move.

Anyone who has built a Technic set will know how difficult and time consuming a "repair" job can be.

This was the original rear suspension for the Sports Car. Supple enough for the weight of the car. Provided a great base for the rear of the car. Linked with two trailing arms connected to the car to manage fore and aft movements, and Watt's Linkage (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watt's_linkage)to manage lateral movements.

I was quite pleased with the result.

The year is 2099. As space exploration thrives, venturing into the cosmos has become commonplace. Nations and even private companies now have their own exploration teams. Among these pioneers are VAREC 02 and VAREC 07, designed and produced by the Vietnam Aerospace Research and Exploration Committee (VAREC).

Repurposed from a vintage 2022 John Deere skidder, VAREC 07 is equipped with a powerful front claw, built for collecting and transporting planetary rocks and meteor samples for advanced geological research. Supporting it is VAREC 02, a specialized maintenance robot tasked with repairs and upkeep, ensuring VAREC 07 operates at peak efficiency during every mission.

Here you can see the breakdown of the gearing in the portal axle and the benefit the Bionicle Visorak Torso provides to the design. The goal was to keep the final reduction as close to the hub as I could, while still leaving the steering axis as close to the center of the tire as the wheel would allow. The piece was central to this design.

You can see the steering axle on the top of the axle, transmitted through the differential in the center of the turntable on the rear.

I'm done building a Unimog designed by Thirdwigg. You can buy the instructions at Rebrickable.com.

The design uses tires I don't have in my collection and which are rather pricey, so I figured I'd use these ø81,6mm Balloon tires which look really powerful.

There aren't that many options for the 43.2mm D. x 26mm rim wheels, but there's hope: the LEGO 42129 Mercedes Zetros Trial Truck which has new tractor tires at ø81. Wonderful!
