What I did in Lockdown - I built a Lego Zoo.
It measures 1 meter x 1.5 meters. I started it Jan 2020 and Finished it March 2021. It is now on display at Toy Planet, Wantage, Oxfordshire.
Collaboration with @igors.legobuilds
Instruction for it is now available on my YT channel!

Besides the trees I've built a few scenes from the books/show like Stannis's army approaching, Mance's army camped in the woods, etc
This is my depiction of the English assault on French artillery positions at the Battle of Castillon in 1453. During the battle, which took place in Gascony France, English commander John Talbot would foolishly lead his troops against a French encampment which had been fortified with artillery. Suffering heavy losses from the artillery the smaller English force would lose the battle.
Being my first attempt at using the net technique for terrain there is a small gap at the top, but overall I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.
Another of the seven Chronicles that's never been adapted into media. "The Magician's Nephew" comes first in terms of Narnian chronology but was written second to last, an order which I've mostly followed (except I built "The Horse and his Boy" ahead of "the Silver Chair").
From left to right: Uncle Andrew's London house, the Hall of Images in Charn, the creation of Narnia, the waterfall at the edge of the Western Wild, and the apple tree planted in Narnia to guard the realm from the White Witch.
MARVEL X D&D: THE BARD
This is the third post of a series that explores what a number of fantastical Marvel characters would be if they were one of the 13 different classes of Dungeons and Dragons (5e). The third of these classes is the Bard.
Enchantress (College of Glamor)
On the darker side of bardic hijinks are those that use their charm and beguiling nature to bring others under their spell. Few Marvel characters fit the bill for this quite as much as The Enchantress. A master of seducing and--you guessed it--enchanting her foes and/or soon-to-be lackeys, Amora makes for a perfect high-level bard with a more villainous streak than your average performer-adventurer.
My build for the final challenge of the rebellug Vignweek challenge, “A long time ago, in a country far, far away…” For this challenge I decided to depict Order 66 in medieval times.
This is my Speed Champions style Lancia Stratos HF rallycar based heavily on the model by @jerrybuildsbricks
Probably the biggest change, that I made is probably the overall color scheme. I wanted to recreate the legendary Alitalia livery purely with just bricks. That resulted more changes of exterior details, but I like, how all the green and red stripes turned out.
The other bigger update was the whole back bumper area. Reworked the tail lights, the spoiler, the exhaust and the wheel arches as well.
At this point I already displayed this model at several conventions in the last couple of years, but didn’t posted much of it online yet. So here it is, I hope you like it as much as how satisfied I’m with it!
For instructions, check @jerrybuildsbricks ‘s assembly video on his youtube chanel!
This tree is super solid. Can you guess how I built it this way? My first attempt took about three weeks and then totally fell apart. Three months later I had a solid build. I made two different sizes. One super big and the other large. The smaller one is up on Lego ideas so please go VOTE for it there. When Helldivers 2 dropped, i knew i had to make those hellpods. Aaand here they are!
A lot of new techniques were used on this one, some i may not be sure works yet. I will build it in real life when i can, might have to make some tweaks by then.
Until then peace out Helldiver!
Welcome to my new big MOC of 2019: "Berlin Friedrichsberg-Kreuzhain - Studio 19"
I built 2 square meters of LEGO City - a fictional place in my hometown of Berlin including a movie studio.
It took some months of work - November'18 till March'19 to be ready for its first exhibition.
Sound studio floor
Level two is the library sporting 3 shelves of books, 2 kids' book bins, a computer for catalog searching and internet use, the librarians desk, and lounge area with a comfy arm chair!
Due to popular request I have created and sell PDF instructions for this model. They are available in my BrickLink store "A *Deal* 4 U" at www.adeal4u.net.
I built this for the LEGO IDEAS 'Build Your Hobby' challenge! I wrote a lot about why I built it there, but I think the title here is sufficient. super happy with the guitar shape and entire display piece. acoustic guitar has always been my comfort zone, I rarely go a day without playing.
More than 42 inches tall, More than 6000 pieces, this hip, modern apartment skyscraper is my second tallest and second biggest MOC, located in the heart of Wasabi District.
Includes amenities such as a rooftop swimming pool up top and Wasabi District's first Dunkin Donuts.
MARVEL X D&D: THE WIZARD.
This is the thirteenth post of a series that explores what a number of fantastical Marvel characters would be if they were one of the 13 different classes of Dungeons and Dragons (5e). The thirteenth of these classes is the Wizard.
Doctor Strange (School of Chronurgy)
In the world of Marvel spellcasters, few can come close to the level of devotion Stephen Strange has to perfecting his craft. He is, in fact, so skilled in the art of spellcasting, that he has assumed the mantle of Sorcerer Supreme. While that may sound like it makes him a Sorcerer, his lack of innate magical talent and years of study and practice cement his identity as a Wizard. Furthermore, his utilization of the Time Stone fuels his temporal control over the Weave, and allows him access to powerful time-manipulation-based abilities.
I've dreamed of building the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse ever since I first saw the movie as a kid.
Now, in Lego, I have!
Here it is: the most iconic treehouse of all time!

Designing this set was an awesome challenge. My first attempt completely fell apart. Three months later, after redesigning everything, I was done with a solid model. You might think that this set will break apart, but the building techniques used, invisible in the finished model, make it extremely strong, even to the end of every branch. Technic pieces connect the green base to the inside of the tree and into the floor of the main treehouse. From top to bottom this set is solid. There has never been a Lego set anything like this so support it and make it a reality!
The treehouse has lots of great functions. The stairs fold up, just like in the movie. There is a trap door you can open and close in the floor of the main treehouse; the roof of each treehouse comes off easily so you can play inside each hut; the right treehouse opens in the front so you can set things up without taking off the roof. And there are lots of great details, like the bunk bed, ships steering wheel, shelves with books and trinkets, a small organ and so much more.
It comes with six minifigures, two dogs, and two monkeys. The minifigures are Mr and Mrs Robinson, Fritz, Ernst, Roberta or "Bertie" and Francis.
It consists of about 2,730 pieces and most are really small, but with the use of parts that currently don't come in the colors needed for the treehouse (mostly reddish brown and dark brown) this count could easily be reduced. It is an impressive set that fits nicely on the corner of my desk.
Thanks Bruce for the help with the photos.

Situated in Hoi Tan Street of Sham Shui Po, the Kwan Tai Temple is the only temple in Kowloon to house the deity of Guan Yu from the Three Kingdoms period. Behind the entrance paifang, a courtyard was created to contain a Chinese pavilion and a censer at centre. Kwan Tai Temple was originally abutting the sea. The site was soon become an inland area after several reclaimations. Right behind the temple, there is the Sham Shui Po Public Dispensary, a Grade II historical building which also worths a visit.

Some small updates: The tree has been made more organic, and the plants are now mostly red, dark red, and orange to give them a more mystical look. Additionally, the bottom supports of the wings have been changed to red to make them more visually interesting.
Models of the John Hancock Building (1965-69, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill), and the Empire State Building (1931, Shreve, Lamb & Harmon), at the Lego exhibit at the National Building Museum, in Washington, DC. The Empire State Building model alone contains 12,200 Lego bricks, and is over 7' tall.

After years of fighting, everyone deserves a little peace....
So, this is only my second medieval build, but it was a lot of fun to make. I was inspired by a couple of builders on Flickr that build some pretty cool castle stuff, so check out their pages! I would appreciate any constructive criticism, as I think I will try some medieval builds more often (a nice break from cars).
Thanks for looking!

Find many mechanical details and trans-dark blue eerie highlights spread into the organic shaping of this massive 6 foot long alien spaceship! The vintage windows are some of my favorite parts in this build, as well as the 2x2 curved sand green slope! Now what if this huge SHIP could FLY...
THE LICH'S LAIR.
Here we have my third entry into the #halloweenhabitats25 and #letsbuildhalloween2 challenges over on Instagram! Again, continuing the theme of undead D&D enemies, we have a lich in his lair. I tried multiple tile patterns before eventually settling on this one, attempting to convey the grandiose taste of a creature that pursues eternal life/undeath. If there's one thing liches have, it's a flair for the dramatic, right? Collected in the lich's lair, we see a bit of everything, including some of his favorite trinkets, one of his favorite spells, a lovely still-life from one of his favorite artists, his grimoire with his nastiest and most profane magic, and of course, the captured souls of many adventurers which he'll use to one day feed his phylactery! Clearly, he's brought some more with thim, however--I wonder where he'll find the space to store them? As always, for lore: read on!
In the world of D&D, liches are powerful spellcasters who have taken on the mission to learn and conduct dark, unholy rituals that tether their soul permanently to their body, even after death. While their spirits inhabit their bodies, the flesh and its innards continue to rot away, leaving the lich with a rather macabre visage. They often dress themselves in fineries, which convey the quality of enlightenment they tend to claim they've achieved in their abominable state of being. Liches undergo the process of trapping their souls within a vessel known as a phylactery, which they often keep heavily guarded, or even hidden and inconspicuous, to avoid being destroyed by self-righteous heroes. To destroy a lich's phylactery is to destroy its safety net of regenerating after its physical form is slain. Thus, it is left vulnerable, and capable of being extinguished. A lich will fight with all its might to avoid having its broader ambitions cut short by a setback such as being slain again, and will employ devastating magic and traps to deter intruders that would infiltrate its lair.
My build for the final challenge of the rebellug Vignweek challenge, “A long time ago, in a country far, far away…” For this challenge I decided to depict Order 66 in medieval times.
The earlier pictures of this LEGO model only showed the first phase of the project (the eastern end of the structure).
Here is an image of just phase 1 of the Michigan Bell Madison Center LEGO model at the 2024 Michigan State Fair MichLUG display.
I am now in the process of adding the western portion to the model. To keep the size under control the model does not include some of the repetitive window bays. As it is the model takes up a 6 x 4 array of 32x32 stud base plates.
At the present I am only building the 1930 version of the Michigan Bell Madison Center. In the late 1940s an additional five stories were added to the western half of the building.
The Michigan Bell Madison Center building was designed by Wirt C. Rowland in 1928 in the Art Deco style. The building is located on the corner of East Bethune and John R. roads (east of Woodward Ave) in Detroit.
Just like a bodybuilder, Buzzwole is often seen striking poses that show off its massive, abnormally swollen muscles. The creature’s body covered in red blood-like filled sacs with veins that are said to be as hard as steel. Buzzwole’s crushing power and unbridled rage give way to fearsome physical damage, and worst of all, a stabbing attack from its silver proboscis which can drain and steal opponents’ energy! This giant extra-dimensional anthropomorphic mosquito packs quite a pulverizing punch!

Drop me in rivers of mercy, yeah
Dare I imagine some faith and understanding?
Drop me in rivers of mercy, yeah
Bring out the dead tonight
And bathe them in your sacred light to
Wash away the pain
Save me from the shadows, yeah
Cry like a siren, the light on my horizon
Drop me in rivers of mercy, yeah
5th model in my "Moments of Melancholy" series. Build only uses white, light bley, dark bley, black, lavender, medium lavendar, dark purple, trans-clear, glitter & regular trans-purple, and satin trans-clear. Started in April 2024, Completed in May 2024, and photographed March 2025.
Title of the build and lyrics from the Tears For Fears song, which might be my favorite. I was privileged enough to see this song performed live with Nick Jensen and Simon Liu just before Brickworld 2022.
SYTHIL, THE LIZARDFOLK RANGER.
This is my first character for the Greymane's Haven Adventuring Guild ongoing challenge hosted over on @greymane_guild on Instagram! As these characters come together, you may start to notice a theme...
Sythil is a scaled, reptilian humanoid known as a Lizardfolk, and is a Ranger of the Hunter archetype. Armed with as potent a nose for tracking his prey as his arrows are sharp, this tall, lean, and menacing individual exceeds at finding his quarry, no matter their type, origin, or capabilities. Though his skills are second to none, his tendency to leave shavings behind when he carves weapons and trinkets from the bones of his former enemies makes his presence... somewhat unwelcome in most cities. At least at the inns.
The Endurance Expedition was a British mission to cross the Antarctic on foot in 1914-17. Launched in August 1914, the expedition became one of the most famous survival stories of all time after the expedition’s ship, Endurance, became stranded and then sank during the voyage to the Antarctic.
