Welcome to my new big MOC of 2019: "Berlin Friedrichsberg-Kreuzhain - Studio 19"
I built 2 square meters of LEGO City - a fictional place in my hometown of Berlin including a movie studio.
It took some months of work - November'18 till March'19 to be ready for its first exhibition.

Another build for 2nd round of Iron Forge, the seed part being the tap piece
A Classic Space Hangar Scene. Actually a while ago, i had a very similar build, but for another contest in a much smaller scale
I've dreamed of building the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse ever since I first saw the movie as a kid.
Now, in Lego, I have!
Here it is: the most iconic treehouse of all time!
Support this project and you can have your very own Falconhurst Treehouse.

Designing this set was an awesome challenge. My first attempt completely fell apart. Three months later, after redesigning everything, I was done with a solid model. You might think that this set will break apart, but the building techniques used, invisible in the finished model, make it extremely strong, even to the end of every branch. Technic pieces connect the green base to the inside of the tree and into the floor of the main treehouse. From top to bottom this set is solid. There has never been a Lego set anything like this so support it and make it a reality!
The treehouse has lots of great functions. The stairs fold up, just like in the movie. There is a trap door you can open and close in the floor of the main treehouse; the roof of each treehouse comes off easily so you can play inside each hut; the right treehouse opens in the front so you can set things up without taking off the roof. And there are lots of great details, like the bunk bed, ships steering wheel, shelves with books and trinkets, a small organ and so much more.
It comes with six minifigures, two dogs, and two monkeys. The minifigures are Mr and Mrs Robinson, Fritz, Ernst, Roberta or "Bertie" and Francis.
It consists of about 2,730 pieces and most are really small, but with the use of parts that currently don't come in the colors needed for the treehouse (mostly reddish brown and dark brown) this count could easily be reduced. It is an impressive set that fits nicely on the corner of my desk.
Thanks Bruce for the help with the photos.

I needed a corner half-baseplate modular to fill in an awkward space in my home layout. Inspired by modern townhouses I have seen lately in the Denver area.

My LEGO model of the first Penobscot Building which measures about three feet high. The prototype was erected in 1905 to the design of architects Donaldson and Meijer in the Beaux-Arts style. This 13 story building was considered to be a skyscraper at the time of its construction but it no longer meets the definition; it is now classified as a high-rise.
Here is a link to a picture of the real first Penobscot Buidling.
It was my entry to Bricklink Designer Program Series 1. I have received many kind comments and support, but unfortunately it has not been selected, therefore I decided to make the instructions available here:

I design usually but not exclusively Speed Champions style car models, but I also love gothic cathedrals, and therefore I decided to design one. It is not actually based on a real building, but it contains many typical details: lancet arches, double lancet arch windows, a ridge turret, flying buttresses, portals with series of receding planes, rose windows etc., and there is a matching street lamp too. The roof assembly can be removed as one piece and in this case the internal details are visible: there is an altar with a cross, a candle holder, a church tabernacle, a brick built bible, there are benches, an organ, a holy water stoup etc.. The middle door on the facade and the side doors open outward, and work perfectly, the side doors on the facade open inward and they can be opened if the door handle pieces (the taps) are removed, but it is not se easy to close them in this case. It is a studless build, the unnecessary studs are hidden by tiles.
- Chapter 1 -
• Western Russia, Kazan region
When the Russian Government relocated to Yekaterinburg due to western Russia being in decay from the NATO retaliation strikes, many stayed behind, some of them upset with the new government signing a peace deal with the West.
Small separatist military groups have sprung up, comprising of former soldiers and personnel of the Russian military, along with upset locals, wanting to topple the new government or gain independence for their regions.
Acquiring heavy firepower from abandoned military depots, they attack Russian military patrols that secure the border in the Kazan region, disrupting the new government’s influence and control of Western Russia, and taking over key military infrastructures. The already weakened government stresses priority on suppressing these small uprisings, before they grow more relentless.
Very happy to share with you my contribution to Epilogue Collab, an initiative to inspire other military builders with a fictional near-future story. This build has been very fun to make, and I’m happy to have been able to try out new techniques and ideas for this one. More details on Instagram.

During the final days of the clone wars, local militia and clones on Silla had almost defeated the separatists on the planet, only for Order 66 to be issued and the clones turn on their Jedi to the dismay of the militia that had fought with him. Immediately the militia jumped into action to save the Jedi, taking the clones by surprise and defeating them. When news reached the Inquisition, an inquisitor and fresh clones were sent to hunt down the Jedi and any who helped him. Holding out at the old separatist defenses on the planet, the Jedi and surviving militia make their final stand.
Since I love the Death Star interior design, I wanted to build a custom LEGO diorama depicting it.
This MOC recreates the blast doors (and they can be fully opened and closed) and different wall sections, including the iconic lighting panels. It has some advanced building techniques, so if you're an AFOL, you might like it ;)

I think I have rebuilt this set over a hundred times. There are so many options in Lego and I tried most of them, so good, some great, some terrible. Since I took these photos I have rebuilt the head and neck. Photos coming soon.
MARYBETH, THE KENKU BARBARIAN.
This is my second character for the Greymane's Haven Adventuring Guild ongoing challenge hosted over on @greymane_guild om Instagram! As these characters come together, you may start to notice a theme...
Marybeth is a frightening, small, yet imposing raven-like humanoid known as a Kenku, and is a Barbarian of the Path of the Berserker. She wields a number of bone daggers and shortswords handcrafted and sharpened by her best friend, Sythil, and employs them to devastating effect. Though she has an impeccable memory when her interest is piqued, her selective enthusiasm often ends up coming back to bite her when a mission isn't completed quite how the client requested it to be. Her intense gaze and movements often unnerve those not familiar with her behavior, but her allies know that her loyalty runs somehow deeper than even her ferocity.
