I wanted to create a Lego accurate version of this ship while still being minifig-scaled and without using convoluted techniques. The front is inspired by ucs 10026 (I loved the black canopy and chromed metal, in this case it's spray painted). The single-piece wedge I used for the canopy is hollow below and allows enough space for the pilot cabin. The lateral underwings are attached to the body via hinges and angled down. The engines instead are inspired by set 7877, while the central structure uses a boat keel as I felt it was more sleek and aerodynamic and reflected better its concept art form.

M-Tron VPR inspired by (and copied from) set #5981

I started a series back in 2018, called Flipover Series. It consist of 3 flipover rovers which have 2 different completely usable sides. The 3 rovers commemorate 6 eras of the old space themes.

This is the first one in the Classic Space / Futuron theme. It's the smallest one. It has the old lego light system.

On the Classic Space side you can access the battery. and can pack cargo on the back, and it's got lights for visibility.

On the Futuron side you have seats for 6 minifigs, 3 cannons and a small compartment for tools.

The cockpit can be rotated with a knob on the back.

Also the rover has 4 wheel steering with a knob in the back for steering. as well.

It's time to restore some order here ! :)

new update for space Wolf on Lego Ideas

In a perfect world, I would have been born 20 years sooner, so that I could've been a product photographer for LEGO Group during the heyday of the late 1980s. In the meantime, this will have to do: my own recreating of box art styles with vintage pieces/minifigures, modern camera equipment, and a celestial pillow case in lieu of a matte painting background.

This is my last Basilisk, for now. I have some other ideas I think would look good, and one I hit the wall on parts availability with (olive and dark red), but other projects beckon. So, I give you the Blacktron version, rejected from the Lego Ideas space competition for the 90th anniversary, as not being new.

Alien story made for the display "Space Panic" at the french convention Brick à Dole 2017.

No display "Space Panic" without... Panic ^_^

A wink at the mythical movie monster... Alien ! Reinterpretation of some of the cult scenes of Alien movies.

Of course on this display as in space, no one can hear you scream...

My very rushed submission for Febrovery. I've never done a build for the collaboration before, and was excited to give it a try when this chassis design came to me last night.

I'll admit, it's not my best work, and I had hoped to do a background as well. But this is definitely better than nothing with only one day left in February.

6884... I have never been a great fan of the look of this model but I will surely change my mind with this blacktronized version...

I feel like a king in my Buggy 🎶

I saw a pic of a car on an Picdump an I had to rebuild it

The XL-15 enters the LEGO City!

This set wouldn’t have been on my radar if it wasn’t for the buzz about the Lightyear film’s director being AFOL Angus MacLane (check out his builds on Flickr!).

Evidently, he pushed for the in-film design to have a yellow transparent canopy, reminiscent of the Classic Space elements.

He also had an interesting spot on LEGOCon, worth a check out.

The build of this one and a cat seater spaceship is substantial! As a medium sized ship it checks most boxes for me: fits all accessories, swoosh-ability is there, has mobile base in form of laptop (stretch), and droid in the Catbot (also stretch). No escape pod/rover, which loses some points when compared to the medium builds of my ‘90s childhood.

But the elements and connections this set brings to the table blow anything from my childhood away. There are a few elements that are super obscure.

Color scheme for the spaceship is great, can’t miss with light blue, white, and black with that yellow canopy.

Also bonus points for extra head/hair elements for minifigs.

Less stellar for me were the minifigs. Buzz looks pretty good, but I’d prefer the dome over a normal helmet (I’m sure that’s a movie plot detail). The other figs have nice printing, but are pretty mute brown, like something out of a Star Wars set.

The shoulder pauldrons for all of them are cumbersome to range of motion.

The rocket launcher build doesn’t really work out to be held, but I do appreciate the built up weapon/scanning accessories.

Very nice set, strong suggest for the building experience and MOC possibilities!

I left off the red stripes off the wings. Does it look cleaner? Worse? Let me know

I’ll be looking at more contemporary LEGO sets that are bringing back Classic Space soon!

Justice shall be fast! This is the motto of the Space Police Team which entered the Galactic Speeder Leagueseason 36. The team has signed a client agreement with Futuron Corp that provided a couple of newly built BRS 09 hoverbikes. They were driven now by Space Police protegee Duke Detain and the league's veteran driver and three-time champion Theodore Judd. In their first season they nearly missed the league's main award, the Bescar Cup, as well as Duke Detain in his first full season lost the title by a very small margin to BMW's Kimi Raikkonen. In season 37 the team scored 7 pole positions in 12 rounds, but severely lacked race pace, reliability and pure luck. Duke Detain won none of the races while Theodore Judd managed to score two victories and a number of pudium finishes. This was enough to grab his fourth title making him the second ever 4-time Galactic League champion after the legendary Benny.

Go Searcher! Still a work in progress.

The Nutcracker Ballet in space? Totally has to happen at Space-mas time. This idea took forever to click in my head, but once it did it was the quickest and simplest habitat I’ve done in while.

added more greebling to give it more texture. I think the black "brackets" have a nice effect in the photo as they suggest negative space. but I going to try and make them grey to have more contrast within the greebling. right now the black swallows a bit too much light for my taste, but I only had the black parts available now.

also i tried my first reversed bricks to create some diagonal elements.

Also I was happy with the clean shape, I hope I’m not cluttering it now. Feedback apreciated as I dont have anyone to talk about this lol.

Edit: but seriously, is there a place where I can get feedback on this? It’s ok if nobody cares, but maybe I’m just in the wrong spot?

Well, after watching my poor Explorien starship for a while I decided it has to be modded. This gave birth to the idea to make a big Startron MOC based on the old ship. And here she is 😉😉 .

She’ll have battery box, foldable weapons, modular structure, hangar bay, small attack craft, and she will be lit by LEDs, yup that includes her engines as well!

SpongeBob Spaceship and the drill

Display made for the french convention "Brick à Dole" 2017. The V2 with a new part "Starship Troopers" was presented to the french convention "Let\'s Go" 2018 in Schiltigheim.

This MOC is a collaborative diorama created with my friend Sweetsha & N3rik.

On this diorama we find the new theme Space Lego but also the Classic Space Lego.

It is intentionally ultra colored, it gives a side very fun :)

There are also many references to the great films of SF, pop culture and it\'s full of humor.

Obviously nothing will happen as planned, Space is going to shit. ^^
