Spyrius: another great 1990s Space theme. I was 9 years old when Spyrius was first launched; my first set of this series was the small Saucer Scout spaceship. Although it was a short-lived theme with a handful of sets, these space scoundrels were intended to be successors to the villainous Blacktron factions from the late ‘80s and early '90s. Some of the notable highlights of this theme were the large robot vehicles, as well as the introduction of an android minifigure.

First totally asymmetrical speeder and the lightest craft ever entered in Galactic Speeder League, this is the vehicle that will be used by team NinjaGo in he third season of the Formula Jedi class. It utilizes separate repulsors for the engine and the cockpit and therefore separate exhaust systems. The shape of the speeder is partly inspired by Cobb Vanth's speeder from the Mandalorian, and the color scheme is an hommage to the classic Lego M-Tron.

With the Basilisk starfighter, I wanted to try some weapons/loadout variants, like in a SHMUP. This is the level 2, an upgraded minigun. The one in the original photos looks like it will be level 5. More upgrades to come!

#MTron Comm. Bracelet

(Scroll through for Video and features)

The new #LEGO #DOTS are #AMAZING & with so much more #durability and #clutchpower than I imagined (but certainly hoped for!)

Thank you @BrickmasterAmy and the @LEGO team for designing a cool new #WearableLEGO line, I am so excited to build more #MOCs with these sweet bracelets!

Special thanks to my daughter for helping me with the photos and video!!! She loves the DOTS, too and we have been using them as communicators and wearing them all day!

Here is another custom Spaceship design. I think the light aqua and orange work well together and am proud of the way i was able to incorporate that windscreen piece.

Ever since I had the privileged opportunity to suggest this cockpit be moulded in the iconic Blacktron I colours, I have dreamed of putting it into a MOC worthy of the amazing 80's aesthetic that the Snow Speeder windscreen just SCREAMS. To me, that's an attack-helicopter with legs a-la Mechwarrior/Battletech - something in the realm of the Marauder/Catapult (Mad Cat / Timber Wolf / Stormcrow / Viper ) variety. Since the amazing set The Force Burner Snowspeederâ„¢ 75414

designed by Daniel Lehmann released last month, and because he graciously outed me as the catalyst for the windscreen's bold look, I have endeavoured to make my retro bipedal Battle Mech. I used a TON of vintage parts and tried to stick closely to the original design language and pattern of the Blacktron I sets. This model is my sturdiest Mech MOC yet! Incorporating dynamic posing, I could achieve this cool pose, and with some supports it could definitely get into a running position. It has working actuators and armor panels that adapt to the shifts in the legs, seats two pilots, and has a winch for them to ascend to the main body from the ground. I am planning to do some outdoor/diorama scenes with SPI getting their comeuppance, but it is an ABSOLUTE dust magnet so I ran to the office for some beauty shots. If you want the whole story of the windscreen, ask me in person. This will be at Skærbæk 2025. I hope you enjoy!!!

Darth Mor’s personal death Squad,

A class built exactly for his warmongering and terror.

Darth Mor’s Star Fighter is flanked by tow of this when he needs a “ little “ more firepower.

Hope you guys like it, let me know what you guys think.

First of all, thanks to Jeffyo for this magnificent AT-AT. As soon as I saw it, I wanted to do it.

I modified it at the stroke level so that it could be coordinated with Benny's actions.

I also modified the design of the legs a little so that it could be more "resistant" during handling (but it remains fragile because the weight of the upper bricks is significant).

In addition, the pieces at the base of the legs being very rare, I added my personal touch.

Well I think Benny is very, very happy with his new toy.

This was the first shot of my Ice Planet 2002 minifigures digging Mr. Burns' teddy bear out of the snow, taken in a pile of snow in my front yard. After editing the photo, I decided to re-shoot it at a higher snowbank for a more dynamic angle.

After the Terran Empire conquered the Klingon Federation, Warp-Ship scientists and designers took on the Federation's workhorse ship and adapted it to "Earther" ways. With warp nacelles embedded into the wings, this ship design seemed to the Terran Empire to encompass the best of both types of designs.

It was the year 1979 when LEGO launched one of the sets that became among the most iconic in the AFOL world: the 928 set.

The Classic Space theme was launched just a year earlier in 1978 and this set became a legend because it represented the most beautiful and largest spaceship in the entire fleet. It is incredible to think of the success that this set of only 338 pieces has had if we compare it to those on sale today, but in those days we were children who dreamed of having this box and our best memories are linked to it.

In '79 I was just 5 years old and I have never been able to have this box, too expensive for my parents, but I have always dreamed of it looking at it in the catalogs. Finally as an adult I looked for it and managed to buy it!

All this premise was used to introduce my new work: the Galaxy Explorer SDR-926! This year I am 10 years old as AFOL and I thought about making mocs that have a special meaning for me. The first of these was the desire to make a spaceship of some importance! SDR-926 wants to be a tribute to the 928 but with very different characteristics and numbers. Number 926 represents the birth of my daughter. The spaceship measures 85 x 75 x 21 cm and is made up of almost 4600 pieces! It took me 5 intense months to make it because it contains several features and functionalities in a single work.

Thank you for watching!

The ICINC satellites are a constellation of advanced multi-frequency, multi-band interstellar telecommunications satellites. They were born from the need to create an integrated system that allows telecommunications between the Earth and the other planets and moons of the Solar System. Currently the ICINC constellation has only been deployed around the Moon and Earth, but in the future the project envisages a wider deployment, around Mars, Venus and Jupiter. ICINC satellites feature some of the most advanced communications technologies in the world, enabling, among other things, high definition video communications, positioning system and wireless internet. Each satellite is powered by a system of high-efficiency photovoltaic panels, which powers a powerful on-board computer (accessible from the outside), which manages all on-board systems and telecommunications systems. Each satellite also has trusters to allow changes in orbit and inclination. The ICINC constellation was the first step for the current colonization of the Moon, and for the future colonization of the Solar System.

NeoClassic Space popping up in the Monkie Kid theme with Chang’e Moon Cake Factory

With the build-up to the release of the Galaxy Explorer 2022, I’m looking back at a few builds over the past year that harken back to Classic Space- NeoClassic Space

I’m not necessarily the demographic for this kit, but the neon transparent elements and color scheme caught my eye for MOC potential. When viewing it through the lens of a medium-sized spaceship from early ‘90s, I can appreciate the set as a compelling plaything.

The Bunny Mech, while not meant for minifigs, carries two intended bunny-pilots or a resting minifig. The butt of the ship can pop off to reveal either an energy fuel container or storage for valuables (if not just a microwave in a strange place).

The ship has interesting shaping, especially with the legs, and that great large dome element. Escape pod box gets checked. Stud-shooters are there to good effect as well.

The side-base, a moon cake factory, build is simplistic but charismatic and effective. There is a conveyor belt that might not be captured by my photos, which looks really good for the few elements used.

Simple carrot-rocket and hover-control station/Live-stream station are simple but effective small builds to add to the play value/storytelling.

A funny medium-sized kit with some good MOC potential. What do you think?

Display "Space Panic" Sky View

Display made for the french convention "Brick à Dole" 2017. The V2 with a new part "Starship Troopers" was presented to the french convention "Let\'s Go" 2018 in Schiltigheim.

This MOC is a collaborative diorama created with my friend Sweetsha & N3rik.

On this diorama we find the new theme Space Lego but also the Classic Space Lego.

It is intentionally ultra colored, it gives a side very fun :)

There are also many references to the great films of SF, pop culture and it\'s full of humor.

Obviously nothing will happen as planned, Space is going to shit. ^^

A custom blacktron build which I worked a lot on, and one of my most complex spaceship designs

It features a modern cockpit, a cargo bay which can be opened and contains 2 small containers. It’s got a bomb bay too and you can reload the bombs and even release them with a push of a button. Also there is a secret compartment in the ship with a data recorder, and for landings there are landing legs too!😎

1997’s Robo Master, the Big One from the bizarre RoboForce sub-theme!

That neon dome! And all the prints! It’s like a better version the Blacktron 2 pods, but it’s on this weird Beast Wars mecha. And it doesn’t detach to fly off. Bummer.

What does detach to fly off is pretty cool for how simplistic it is: a smaller Unitron Star Hawk II (#1789). A set design from another far superior Space sub-theme.

I don’t mean to hate on RoboForce this much, it looks cool, has tons of prints, neon transparent elements, and great minifigs with leg prints and updated helmet sculpts! All of that is awesome!

But why wasn’t this designed as a spacecraft? It would have been among the best. LEGO hadn’t figured out Mechs in ‘97, but they sure have now.

Final thought, what was the tail thing?

A weapon? A ‘robot’? A charger for the spacecraft?

More Retro Space LEGO sets to be featured soon, including more RoboForce

After Stark Industries' exit from the Galactic Speeder League there is a new manufacturer team from Earth, Porsche. Their first GSL Unlim speeder was created in cooperation with Futuron, a corporation with a great legacy in Racing speeder design. The model utilizes four protonic engine blocks, two of which are located at the back while the two main ones are on the sides closer to the front. Quite a rare scheme but it was effectively used by Stark Industries, for example. The 9TT also has tilted sidr relulsors which provides for additional maneuverability — a solution banned in the B+ class but never before used in Unlim. Porsche drivers for Season 26 Will be Andre Lotterer and Alex Bowman.

Not the most reliable or easy-to-operate of Blacktron vehicles, the BT7751, nicknamed the "Dark Dragster", was designed as a fast raiding rover armed with dual small-calibre omega particle cannons. The Blacktron Alliance frequently use dangerous and unstable technology in their equipment, but omega cannons produce sufficient background radiation that the designers were forced to place them at a distance from the pilot's position. After a design where they were positioned directly over the front axle proved too difficult to control, the current strutted design was produced. Dark Dragsters are rare in the Blacktron Alliance's hardware lists but are usually given a wide berth by both the Federation and the Alliance's own troops whenever they are rolled out.
