In researching inspiration for this section of the display, I suddenly find myself completely entranced by Classic Town! The simple shapes and bright, primary colours, it's so beautiful (I may be delirious right now). Anyways, this is very much on the side of late-1980s town sets like #1490 Town Bank: the larger glass windows as opposed to the earlier smaller opening windows with shutters, etc.

This tractor/truck is inspired by the vehicles commonly used in shipyards and harbours to move cargo containers.
I started building it after seeing LegoGuyTom’s yard tractor and wanted to create my own version (do check his out as well!).
Built at 6-stud-wide, true minifigure scale, it fits perfectly into any LEGO City layout or harbour-themed display. As an AFOL, I’ve used some advanced building techniques to make the model both stable and fun to build.

his year I bulit so many mocs with octagonal structures. This time my latest works are a lighthouse and a lightboat.
Leuchtturm Yu-nui-san is in Qingdao City,it is a historical lighthouse bulit by Germans and rebulided by Japanese about 100 years ago.
It is my first time to build a lighthouse and maybe I will add furnitures in it later.
Third district for my micro city/diorama, where buildings go higher and higher in combo with district n.2.

Was in Orlando yesterday. Decided to stop by the LEGO Store quickly before I left. Picked up this lil bad boy. :) Neat lil set. Want to try out some suspension on it. Love the big ole tires! :) Austin said he wants to build another one, but that it needed to be Mad Max'd. :) Leaving for home tonight, won't be on for several days at least.
