Construction of this 190-meter-tall Frankfurt skyscraper designed by Danish Bjarke Ingels Group started in 2016 and lasted until September 2019, when the first tenants moved in. It is since Frankfurt’s seventh-tallest structure, altering the city’s skyline in a major way. Omniturm offers not only office space but also condominiums at a previously unreachable point in the city, 100 meters above ground amidst the Frankfurt skyline, adjacent to iconic skyscrapers such as Sir Norman Foster’s Commerzbank Tower or SAA Schweger Architekten’s Main Tower. The floors containing the apartments are offset from the building’s core in a spiral shape to accommodate balconies, resulting in the Omniturm’s signature “hip swing”. The lower floors are open to the public while a roof terrace is accessible for tenants or inhabitants.

This model consists of 1,739 parts and is built in scale 1:650.

A comprehensive, 60-page digital book highlighting the historical precedence of Eiffel Tower alongside the high-resolution images of the piece is now available at www.roccobuttliere.com/shop/eiffel-tower-digital-book. The second half of this book provides extensive insights into the design + build process of this 7,900-part, scale LEGO model; insights which were previously only available to subscribers on Patreon. Don’t miss out on this inspiring and concept-to-completion highlight of one of my most iconic works!

These were a few baseplates of my contribution to The Brothers Brick, Ninjago City Collaboration.

Another view of the David Stott Building model. It is 7.5 feet high to the roof and is composed of about 20,000 parts. No glue or paint was used in its construction.

Well I have waited a while to post these, but here are the HD expansive photos of my Church Dream MOC from Summer of 2022. I went with natural lighting for the photos this time around and saw an incredible turn out. Little editing was required on the tale end of shooting. As for the slides the first five show the MOC in larger detail while the later five examine aspects of the free-form landscape and architecture better. At some point in the next few months I will either do a techniques post or a story Q&A. Thank you to any and all who supported this project along the way. I am incredibly happy with the result. If you have any feedback, it is greatly appreciated and as always, enjoy.

Based on BCD's Chilis, this modular building MOC features an extra 16X32 studs expansion, which allowed for the movement of the main entrance to the corner (which then transformed it into a corner building) as well as the movement of many of the internal components. It also allowed for the installation of extra booths for customers and for a hostess station. The bar area gets a boost of space as well with the rearrangement, and access to the bathrooms is now through the bar, and not through the dining area, which typically is a plus.

9 months ago, I built a LEGO replica of the National September 11 Memorial Museum using Stud.io software to improve my rather « ugly » first version. Now, I’ve been able to faithfully reproduce it in real life !

This new 10 times better version is made up of 3000 parts.

The building is lit at night by LEDs. 💡

The visible interior is almost faithful to the museum, and also includes the tridents of the old WTC visible from the outside at the glass facade !

Concerning geometry, big achievement for my part. I’m very proud of this fairly faithful form of the building IRL. The result is sublime with the stripes in « Metallic Silver » color. 📐

There are certainly illegal techniques, but that’s what makes the building so charming.

I had used white flexible tubes to represent the metal beams supporting the glass facade on the 3D model, but however, I didn’t particularly think of doing it again in real life, although it seems quite complex to me. I don’t know if I will do it one day, but it looks very good without. 👍

There are certainly many other details to describe but I will stop here. I sincerely hope that you like this new version, and above all, let’s never forget ! 🙏🇺🇸

The Black Diamond opened in 1999 as an extension to the Royal Danish Library. The library is located in Copenhagen, and the LEGO model uses 540 pieces.

This is the consolidation of Lego sets 40178, 40305, 60097, and 5005358 into one Modular Building Lego Store.

First floor includes the pick a brick wall, the "Cash Wrap," shelves of product, and other displays. The Second floor has additional shelves of products and displays. The Third floor holds the Manager's office area, the stock room, the employee's bathroom, and the minifig factory assembly station. All 4 sets are represented within the building, plus I grabbed a couple of additional parts from 31081 Skate House, (the black 4x3x1 frame for the trap door on the roof, and the printed 2x2x1 graffiti Dk red brick).

This is the 21011 set of the Architecture series, but I have changed just the group of statues, on the top of the building! :)

The SV-Hochhaus is the newly built headquarters of the Süddeutsche Verlag after the company moved out of the city center. It was initially planned as 145-meter-tall landmark in Munich’s industrial east. But the same citizens’ initiative stopping many other high-rise projects in Munich brought this to a halt, too. Following the referendum, the roof height was set to 100 meters, forcing GKK+Architekten to completely rethink their concept. Nonetheless, it was opened in July 2007, after just over one year of construction.

The complex features an intricate façade with sharply angled windowpanes creating a diamond-like effect on the surface. Unfortunately, it was not possible to recreate this mesmerizing effect at this scale.

The model consists of 1,101 pieces and is built in scale 1:650. It features a detailed rendition of the “Atrium”, the building's impressive lobby, which is accessible through a removable roof.

Yes, this is the Beast's castle! So dark, so baroque, so majestic! It's a MOC created by me starting from another one, the one by jm_rkuhtect that you can find and download from Rebrickable website. I fell in love with it at first sight! I modified it in colors and dimensions, shrinking it and bringing it back to the same Architecture scale of the other sets and castles.

Check out the other MOC on jm_rkuhtect's page! He is so talented!

Also known as Still Bend, this Frank Lloyd Wright house is located in Two Rivers, WI.

This is based on a reworking of the Lego Haunted House set, with some "assistance" from Kristel's free instructions from Rebrickable, and other inspirations from BCD Mansard as well as other examples available on other Lego fan sites on the internet. I'm happy with the outcome, especially with the line of the imbedded chimney, seen if the side of the building is not against another building.

My first fleshed out version of the Cinema from the 'Town Plan' set.
