Also known as Still Bend, this Frank Lloyd Wright house is located in Two Rivers, WI.

This is based on a reworking of the Lego Haunted House set, with some "assistance" from Kristel's free instructions from Rebrickable, and other inspirations from BCD Mansard as well as other examples available on other Lego fan sites on the internet. I'm happy with the outcome, especially with the line of the imbedded chimney, seen if the side of the building is not against another building.

My first fleshed out version of the Cinema from the 'Town Plan' set.

this is a build from 2014-15 during winter. I started with the art foundation and ended up one night with a very 70's church on the side. I found it so ironic and funny that I kept it this way.

Obviously I'll go more to one place than the other but they still exist in real life and are usually landmarks of great cities that I think they are truly well represented here.

the only thing now is that I have to make more museums for the city and start synagogue and mosque as well.

The back of the White Foundation Of the Arts is not like that IRL, still the same shttty problem with the lever snot technique that is IMPOSSIBLE with Studio or LDD.

The main building is separate with the taller part with colourful front that's just sliding in order to be pulled out and reveal the statues on the inside of the ground floor. not so much to see actually but hey!!!! my first slide built ever!!!!

I wouldn't probably do it like that and with so much colours these days but I don't like to alter too much or get rid of my old buildings.

plus I'm so freaking proud of the white chapel that made me stay awake for a whole evening.

hope you'll like it. it was mind blowing to remade it using Studio

Andy and Helen head out to the "picture show".

A year after its (re)modeling in LEGO on the 3D Stud.io software by BrickLink, it was time to reproduce it in real life !

Here is my faithful replica of the new One World Tarde Center in New York, made up of more than 28,000 LEGO bricks, assembled in more than 60 hours, and illuminated at night with LEDs !

A little bit of history first, One World Trade Center nicknamed “Freedom Tower” and its 541 meters high (1,776 feet, corresponding to the year of the United States Declaration of Independence) is the tallest tower in New York, in the United States and the Western Hemisphere. 🇺🇸

It’s also the most expensive tower in the world, costing nearly $3.9 billion, and is the most technologically advanced and environmentally sustainable skyscraper. 🌟

But now, in LEGO ???

This centerpiece is part of my project consisting of almost faithfully reproducing the new Ground 0 - World Trade Center district in LEGO.

It went through several versions before arriving at this final version which is more geometric, more voluminous and better worked.

Admire these inclined facades !

I won’t be able to describe every detail here since there are a lot, but the main points are :

- More than 28,000 parts.

- The building measures 2.25 m (7.4 ft) with a scale of 1:245 ! 📏

- It includes the almost faithfully reproduced One World Observatory platform as well as all the floors of the tower.

- It’s lit at night with LEDs for the floors, as well as addressable RGB LEDs for the lobby and antenna that can change color individually.💡

I wanted to thank BlueBrixx for providing me with alternative LEGO Trans-Clear plates for the lobby as well as rigid hoses for the metal rings on the roof.

First Floor - Kitchen.

Converted from the Palace Cinema, this is the establishment that it was yearning to be. With elements from Ninjago and a kitchen stocked from an extra Parisian Cafe, this restaurant has had it's footprint expanded to allow easy dining for all minifigs who want a nice asian meal.

Set 21007 is modeled after New York City's Rockefeller Center. It consists of 240 pieces, is rated Age 10+, and took me 40 minutes to build.

30 Rock (RCA Building/GE Building) and other highrises are now in place, to complete the set. I am rather pleased, considering that the Rockefeller Center is a place of a fair number of memories for me, including my first-ever meeting with a celebrity (Mariah Carey, 1994) that took just off of the right corner of this photo. And in my most New York City visit, in October 2011, I got some great photos of the night cityscape from Top of the Rock, an observation deck on the top three floors of 30 Rock.

For my first Lego Architecture sets, I decided on three New York City landmarks. With yet another trip to New York City about to start in a week, I wanted to get into a New York state of mind, just like the Billy Joel song.

This is my first Lego Architecture set: Set 21002, depicting New York City's Empire State Building, rated Age 10+, consisting of 77 pieces. This is the simplest Lego set for me to date, and it took me just over 15 minutes to build.

The tapering of higher floors into smaller footprint, as happens at the real Empire State Building, is well replicated here, with strategic uses of 2x1 tiles with one grommet.

For my first Lego Architecture sets, I decided on three New York City landmarks. With yet another trip to New York City about to start in a week, I wanted to get into a New York state of mind, just like the Billy Joel song.
