Final submission for Iron Forge 2023, round 1. The seed part is any minifigure sword. I used lots and lots of them (44 if i counted right) to create a little garden cottage.

Ebisu East Gallery is a wedding venue and restaurant located in Tokyo, Japan. Modular building is constructed of about 8000 bricks and the back and one side can be opened.

Some bricks have been chosen in colors that are not currently available to make the final result look more like the real building. Computer rendering.

I had no doubt in my mind that the first of what will hopefully be many kits ought to represent the city where I grew up visiting museums, began my architecture education ten years ago, and still call home to this day. This small kit represents the north lion standing "on the prowl" along Michigan Avenue outside the Art Institute of Chicago.

Several of these First Edition kits were mailed to all Corinthian patrons today, and should be reaching everyone soon! For now, the kits will only be available to Corinthian patrons. The rest will be available for sale online and in-person at BrickUniverse events soon. I'll be sure to post here and across social media once they are widely available. Be sure to stay tuned as you won't want to miss out on getting one of these limited quantity First Edition kits!

Ever since I built the Frauenkirche last year I was hooked on Architecture scale. This year I wanted to push the limits in regards to details in this tiny scale and settled on the Santa Maria della Salute, an iconic church from Venice, Italy.

This also won me a nomination for Best Small Building at Brickworld 2015. Happy me :)

What do you think? Any feedback appreciated!

The Cathedral of Our Dear Lady in Munich was built during the 16th century. Its appearance is typical for large cathedrals in southern Germany; gothic architecture clad in brick, was very common and still influences the cityscapes of many Central European towns. The church’s twin towers rise over 100 meters above the street level and to preserve their visibility among the fast-changing skyline of 21st century Munich, the city council decided to prohibit skyscrapers to rise higher than the Frauenkirche.

The model consists of 1,559 pieces, is built in scale 1:650, and features a removable roof to access the detailed interior, including both organs and the marble altar.

Presenting my LEGO Architecture interpretation of Caerphilly Castle; a commissioned model for Cadw with Little Big Art.

I’ve captured and replicated the architectural essence of Caerphilly Castle, such as the iconic leaning tower and the ruins across the landmark.

The structure is designed to provide a true-to-life colour and relative scale depiction adding an extra dimension and feel of authenticity to this detailed recreation of Wales’ biggest castle!

Boxes (or cases) stacked asymmetrically on top of each other form this modern house. At the same time it´s an angle case study.

“I have set eyes on the wall of lofty Babylon on which is a road for chariots, …”

As early as 1200 BCE Babylon was a fortified city-state in the fertile land on the shores of Euphrates River. But under Nebuchadnezzar II the state of Babylonia rose to its mythical might. By 600 BCE, Babylon was most likely the largest city in the world, surpassing vast urban agglomerations in China and the highly developed metropolises along the river Nile. 600,000 people lived and worked under their king and needed protection against invaders from the savage north. A 90-kilometer-long, massive stone wall was erected around the city’s enclosures, 20 meters high and wide – enough for chariots to pass each other. The undertaking’s jewel was the great Ishtar Gate, entirely blue with golden inscriptions, depicting the great tale of Gilgamesh. The procession street connected the gate to the outer walls, flanked by over 500 golden lions. Nowhere in the world has such grandeur been seen before.

By the time, Antipater of Sidon composed his list, the Walls of Babylon were yielding to the only foe they could not have held off; three centuries of high water, storms and lacking reparations crippled the mighty bulwark.

The model consists of 4,223 pieces and is built in scale 1:650. It depicts a 100-meter-long portion of Babylon’s mighty wall and the half-mile-long procession street leading up to the city’s famous northern Ishtar Gate. The layout is inspired by a scale model of the gate complex at Pergamon Museum, Berlin.

The house is a calm and silent place to call home. The livingroom is hovering above the still water of the swimming pool. The living area is divided into different floor levels. Kitchen and toilet are located on ground floor. Landing, livingroom, bedroom and bathroom can be found on next level. A combined music and reading corner is hosted on the highest level. A friend of mine told me that she imagined this house to be located in Italy. I think that Italy is a very good guess.

The city has grown around the railroad and the Brickester City Council has decided to expand the station, preserving and restoring the old facade and covering the old hall with a new iron and glass structure.

This newly-restored station has quickly become the most important meeting point in the city. Thousands of people pass through every day. Some patiently await the journey home, others rush by to get to work on time, some people-watch with curiosity, whilst some anxiously anticipate the too-slow arrival of a loved one. Yet others carry all their worldly belongings in a suitcase ready to embark the train to a new life.

The front of Autumn Stream House MOC.

Autumn Stream House MOC is a modern home lying among the trees coloured by autumn. Underneath a small stream is living its own life.

This is a social home with a large and modern kitchen where you might gather around a freshly baked pizza. Or you might sit in the lounge sipping on tea in front of the fire.

Upstairs you find a sleeping loft, a fully equipped bathroom, a bird (or star) watching corner and a balcony.

Falu red summer cottages are a common sight in the Scandinavian archipelago. They were often built a long time ago in the 19th or 20th Century. Here is my contemporary take on a Falu red cottage.

These were a few baseplates of my contribution to The Brothers Brick, Ninjago City Collaboration.

This is my latest Moc an Visitor Centre located near a river. It's modeled after a paddle boat.

This build is a large castle/landscape display featuring The Knights of the Black Falcon and The Forest Guard.

First and foremost the aim of this build was to showcase what I love about those classic mid-80s Castle sets and specifically my two favourite factions. I have drawn inspiration from the original sets featuring each faction, specifically what I loved about them as a child and aimed to contrast that with what appeals to me as an adult builder.

The build features two fortresses side by side, Falkenholt Castle, the fortress of the Knights of the Black Falcon and an underground network of caves and tunnels that comprise the fortress of the Forest Guard.

Some of the elements that I am most happy with in this build are the level of detail and texture, the cross-section style cutaway on the edges of the build showing the internal structure of the castle as well as the geological layers of rock, clay and soil.

️ BASILICA NOVA (MAXENTIUS & CONSTANTINE) ️

Included in Part II of Design Insights covering the Forum ROMANUM over on my Patreon page!

Never before has a seemingly simple rectangular structure challenged me so thoroughly in its design! The sheer number of half- and quarter- plate thicknesses with which I had to contend in order to squeeze the exact number of windows and doors into the façade was nothing short of extraordinary.

I'd also like to think that the inclusion of a minifigure space suit and gold visor - representing a half-dome on the north side of the basilica - takes this redux to stratospheric new heights!

Hi! I have always found the Victorian style to be mesmerizing with its ornate and sophisticated décor.

I had a great time building a few interiors, as well as designing many objects that fit the aesthetics of the

19th century.

Hope you enjoy!

Modern living at split levels. Three kinds of sections - striped, brown and olive green.

In Olive Sand House I combine the desertlike surroundings and olive green/tan colour scheme of Whitebrick Sand House with the striped architecture of for example Green Rock House, Calmwater Cliff House and Vanilla House that has in some way become my trademark.

I have decided to remake my Bilbo's library Moc so that it can fit in the big Lego showcase (best way to fight against the dust 😅).

It was also a way to reduce the floor that was a bit too massive in the previous version. We have lost the woodbeam but they were very fragile.

I hope you will like this version too .
