@brickisme. My latest MOC: Lego Harbour Control. Modernist building with parking.

This build is a large castle/landscape display featuring The Knights of the Black Falcon and The Forest Guard.

First and foremost the aim of this build was to showcase what I love about those classic mid-80s Castle sets and specifically my two favourite factions. I have drawn inspiration from the original sets featuring each faction, specifically what I loved about them as a child and aimed to contrast that with what appeals to me as an adult builder.

The build features two fortresses side by side, Falkenholt Castle, the fortress of the Knights of the Black Falcon and an underground network of caves and tunnels that comprise the fortress of the Forest Guard.

Some of the elements that I am most happy with in this build are the level of detail and texture, the cross-section style cutaway on the edges of the build showing the internal structure of the castle as well as the geological layers of rock, clay and soil.

LEGO Laurent House

Lego build of House for two families in Bahamas by Vardehagen and Anders Haagaas Grinde. However, my version is just for one family because I wanted to keep the size down. About 4250 bricks including about 1500 โ€water bricksโ€. Computer rendering but only existing bricks/colors were used.

Part of the WAWLUG collab project Asian street. Inspired on the buildings from Hoi An.

For Brickscaliburs Interior Architect category, 3rd build

I put this on Lego Ideas, because I think it might be a nice display model. So check out the link if you want to see it succeed. Thank you for your support!

So I won a place in the LEGOLAND Billund Gallery and the entry I chose was actually too big to fit. Ever tried shrinking a model? Yeah, you better start from scratch. At least thatโ€™s what I did. I laid out the size it can have, so that I could transport it in a box and within that frame I started to build the base again. The build is now in a cabinet at LEGOLAND for the season 2022.

I'm back with my newest moc, the Red London Telephone Box.

The model contains 1856 pieces and features lots of interesting details. The door can be opened to reveal an authentic detailed interior, complete with an old fashioned telephone.

As well as the phone box I've also included a British pillar box and a street lamp complete with hanging flower baskets.

I think the iconic London Telephone Box would be a great subject for a LEGO IDEAS set so I've uploaded it to the LEGO IDEAS website. If you like the model I'd be really grateful if you could head over and give the model your support. 10,000 votes and it could become a real set.

Thanks very much.

Added some more landscape and a waterfall.

Assassin's Creed: Venice 1486 - Chapter 1 - Osservare

So this is where i worked on for the past 3years (on and of). Approximately 3000 hours and 250.000 parts later I present to you with great pride and incredible detail; Venice 1486 as it might have looked in the 15th century.

This is the first chapter of a total of 4, in which I'll take you into an adventure of Darion as a Master Assassin.

Let me know what you think ๐Ÿ™

--------------------------------------------------------------

"Osservare" in the English tongue better known as Observing. By far the most boring thing about finding your mark, but absolutely necessary.

Meet 'Darion Aiulf da Fortebraccio' and his eyes and ears in the sky 'Gaita' an Italian barn owl. Darion is a Venetian nobleman, and to others unknown also a Master Assassin and former member of the Italian Brotherhood of Assassins.

Abandoned by his brothers and mentor for disobedience. He now is a solitary assassin that seeks his targets through the signs of god. For his next mark, faith steered Darion in the direction of the Templar order. Who now have a foothold on Venice city grounds and even managed to get the newly elected doge 'Marco Barbarigo' on their side. Marco openly expressed his support for the Templar Order...

And so this is where our story begins!

Where other men blindly follow the truth, Remember, nothing is true.

Where other men are limited by morality or law, Remember, everything is permitted.

We work in the dark to serve the light.

We are assassins!

A modern house for a family with kids. Fully furnished. Architecture is inspired by functionalism and clean lines. About 6800 bricks. Computer rendering but buildable if you have the bricks.

Inspired by a house by Log Home Scotland. About 4000 bricks. Computer rendering but only existing bricks/colors were used.

Lego bookstore modular inspired by A.Masow Architects concept store. There are four apartments above the bookstore. The modular house can be opened at the back and is fully furnished. About 6500 bricks. Computer rendering but only existing bricks/colors were used. Reference images.

This is my third version of my LEGO model of the David Stott Building. I built my first model of the Stott in 2006.

I rebuilt it to make is proportions more accurate and to get it closer to Minifig-scale. It is hard to make a LEGO model to an exact scale but it is about 1:48th scale (the previous version was about 1:60 scale). This model of the Stott has a roof height of 8 feet, 11 inches (2.7 meters).

Next to the Stott is my model of the six story 25 State Street (former home of the Colonial Department Store and Cunningham Drugs.

Unfortunately the new David Stott mode is noticeably larger in scale compared to my other three tall LEGO buildings (Fisher, Guardian, and Penobscot) which remain closer to 1:60 scale.

I plan to display this building at the 2021 Brickworld Michigan which is September 25-26 at the Suburban Showcase in Novi.

The house is a calm and silent place to call home. The livingroom is hovering above the still water of the swimming pool. The living area is divided into different floor levels. Kitchen and toilet are located on ground floor. Landing, livingroom, bedroom and bathroom can be found on next level. A combined music and reading corner is hosted on the highest level. A friend of mine told me that she imagined this house to be located in Italy. I think that Italy is a very good guess.

Here's my entry for the fourth prompt of RebelLUG's Vignweek 2021 contest, with the theme of modern era (being defined as anything after 1800). I wanted to stay away from what I thought would be more common topics like western or WWII (though apparently I thought wrong as more "city" type of builds are what's been most common), and so I ended up doing this 1950s diner inspired by this one. This was actually pretty fun to build, such a different type of architecture from what I normally build. Maybe eventually I'll come back to this idea and make a full build!

You can see some close-ups here.

This is my latest Moc an Visitor Centre located near a river. It's modeled after a paddle boat.

Calmwater Cliff House is located on a cliff by the beach. Two floors with a terrace on each floor. Downstairs you find a spacious kitchen and dining area, a bathroom and home office. Upstairs you find a music corner with sea view, a bedroom and the main entrance.

As you see itยดs a LEGO house and Iยดve mainly used the colours black, dark tan, tan and reddish brown.

I wanted to make a modern home - in some way inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright and the colours of the 20th century - updated to 21st century lifestyle.

I have decided to remake my Bilbo's library Moc so that it can fit in the big Lego showcase (best way to fight against the dust ๐Ÿ˜…).

It was also a way to reduce the floor that was a bit too massive in the previous version. We have lost the woodbeam but they were very fragile.

I hope you will like this version too .

On a recent trip to the coast, I noticed the many ways in which Land meets Water.

This MOC is an attempt to mimic rockwork as arches using plates. The result was a bowl shaped island which I made into a self sustained island village.

The agony of an idea existing only in my mind for two years was offset solely in the ecstasy of knowing I had countless supporters to help me will that idea onto the exhibition tables.

I consider myself truly fortunate to be providing some small insight into our shared history, and with any luck, some hope for a better future.

The city has grown around the railroad and the Brickester City Council has decided to expand the station, preserving and restoring the old facade and covering the old hall with a new iron and glass structure.

This newly-restored station has quickly become the most important meeting point in the city. Thousands of people pass through every day. Some patiently await the journey home, others rush by to get to work on time, some people-watch with curiosity, whilst some anxiously anticipate the too-slow arrival of a loved one. Yet others carry all their worldly belongings in a suitcase ready to embark the train to a new life.

Pyke, the seat of House Greyjoy.

Westeros.

Game of Thrones.

I'm a huge fan of Game of Thrones, so decided to build something related to that. The obvious castles would have been King's Landing or Winterfell but to me Pyke seemed more interesting, visually. I could build according to the description in the books but add something of my own as well and end up creating my version of it.

Also, I had an opportunity to do some more rockwork, :-) how could I lets that pass.... :-) :-) I used curved slope on plate for most of the rock.

Inspired by a house by Log Home Scotland. About 4000 bricks. Computer rendering but only existing bricks/colors were used.

This is Dune House MOC. A modern home surrounded by sand dunes.

The curved livingroom downstairs has glass walls. That contrasts to the rest of the ground floor with open plan kitchen and smaller windows. Why not read a book in the comfy resting chair under the staircase? The bathroom combines white and dark red colours and hosts a shower, wash basin and wall hung toilet. Upstairs you find the bedroom and space to read, paint or just relax.

At Brickcon this October, people came upto me and said " We've seen pictures of this, but didn't realize it was this big" So I put myself in there to outline scale.

LEGO scale model of the market square in Bruges, Belgium.

Before the pandemic I brought this house to my work office to display it in my room. It has been there since then - alone. Now it's back at home with me and I decided to take some new - better - photos. So here they are!

Scandinavian Sea House MOC is a small - but functional - house by the sea. It is shaped like an L and located somewhere in the Swedish archipelago. Downstairs you find a small TV-room and kitchen next to a guest room and a laundry room. A storage space is hidden underneath the staircase, that leads up to the master bedroom. And now we come to the best part - the home spa! Here you find a Turkish bath and resting chairs in a peaceful environment with a panorama sea view. Double glass doors lead to the roof terrace outside.

It is a modular fish market sized 64x32 studs comprising seven pavilions and few bridges. The market is divided into wet goods and dry goods zone, with shops ranged from fish stalls, flower shop and grocery stores at Ground, and cafe and restaurant on the 1st Floor. Vibrant Coral and Dark Azur are adopted as colour palette of the design. Built with several types of window frames, a huge canopy provides weather proection to the people below. Enjoy shopping and eating with proper distancing!

The Michigan LEGO users group has seen up another of its annual displays at The Henry Ford museum. It runs from November 14th until early January 2022.
