Kinderdijk Netherlands
According to a legend, Kinderdijk thanks it's name to a special event during the flood. A cradle with a child on the waves was kept in balance by a cat and stranded on the slope of a dike. The spot where this happened was named Kinderdijk...

Billy Joe Shaver brought his songs about hell-raisin', drinkin', lovin' and losin' to Memphis on Saturday (July 19). He performed at Minglewood Hall's 1884 Lounge.
Probably the most famous and best loved of all Spitfires still flying today, MH434 was built in 1943 at Vickers, Castle Bromwich. Since 1970, it has participated across Europe as a key performer in the most famous airshows, including Flying Legends, the Biggin Hill Air Fair, the Paris and Berlin Air Fairs and the Goodwood Revival.
The aerobatic display from this icon is amazing to both watch and hear. Available for displays at airshows, weddings and private events; all that is needed is an open area of countryside to display over.
Hoje tem esse lindoviski russo lá no blog! :D

Hey there, here's my 6th and final entry for the CCC
I really liked the videogame category, but I don't really play a lot of games. At some point I saw the game Rayman Legends and it looked quite interesting, so I did a bit of research and started on this build. I never played the game myself, but if my small research was good enough, the build I made is based on the level called 'castle in the clouds'.
It was a pretty rushed build, but for only a few hours of building, I think it turned out pretty good...
I hope you enjoy this entry, and I would like to hear your opinion!

A host of Legend People stand petrified, until time wears them down and quarries them away. It seemed very easy to find oneself getting too close to the edge of these vistas while searching for an exciting vantage point, all the while exhorting the children to "stay back." And, it turns out, the surface can be rather slippery.
Behold, your Guardians of the Galaxy!
Aside from Drax and Groot being Vol.1 figures all of these are Vol.2 figures. I used the first Drax because as neat as yelling Drax looked, it wasn't what I was going for in this picture.
Star Lord is a customized Ego 2-pack version with added fingerless gloves and I swapped his boots for black ones and added a 30 gauge wire to a set of headphones for him to wear as well as adding the blue to pink heat discoloration tot he gun barrel shrouds on his blasters. I'm not completely done yet as I'd like to experiment with painting is walkman blue and silver and painting the headphone ear foam orange.
Yondu has a custom swapped control Mohawk that I took off a whistling head sculpt and transplanted onto the smiling head.
Everyone else is stock.

You know you are friends with a true legend when you are touring the Pan Am business train and see numerous high quality, expensively framed, exclusive MPP photos hanging everywhere, such as this example of the freshly out-shopped 352 at Waterville back in the early days of blue....hanging in the ST101 back in 2012.
Years of ultra top secret & highly elaborate missions, full cavity searches, and retina scans have produced some very nice images that are unattainable to your average Joe. There are CIA operatives who haven't worked this hard!
Nice work over the years MPP!

Happy birthday Aftab bahi. Yes, everything is temporary, like that drop clinging to the last bit of adhesive force. But as long as you trek through your amazing journey, know that you are respected and loved. I wish for sunshine for your days ahead, for you've been the source of light and inspiration for so many :)
P.S. I am clearly one of the last few people to wish you, but blame it on my time zone :P I am still technically "in time"!
A band named "Legend" jamming for tips at the Colorado Springs Flea Market. They played country, country rock, rock, & R&B. Unusually, all 3 members sang lead on different songs (and quite well too.) A really good band.

This is the second largest build I've ever done! It ends up totalling 6255 pieces, and is 116 cm long. I'm very happy with the final result!

The alchemist knew the legend of Narcissus, a youth who knelt daily beside a lake to contemplate his own beauty. He was so fascinated by himself that, one morning, he fell into the lake and drowned. At the spot where he fell, a flower was born, which was called the narcissus.
But this was not how the author of the book ended the story.
He said that when Narcissus died, the goddesses of the forest appeared and found the lake, which had been fresh water, transformed into a lake of salty tears.
‘Why do you weep?’ the goddesses asked.
‘I weep for Narcissus,” the lake replied.
‘Ah, it is no surprise that you weep for Narcissus,’ they said, ‘for though we always pursued him in the forest, you alone could contemplate his beauty close at hand.’
‘But… was Narcissus beautiful?’ the lake asked.
‘Who better than you to know that?’ the goddesses asked in wonder. ‘After all, it was by your banks that he knelt each day to contemplate himself!’
The lake was silent for some time. Finally, it said:
‘I weep for Narcissus, but I never noticed that Narcissus was beautiful. I weep because, each time he knelt beside my banks, I could see, in the depths of his eyes, my own beauty reflected.’
~ Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
While looking at those reflections, this story came to mind. So thought of framing that moment as it was. A photograph is not only a scene that you see through a camera- sometimes it could be something that touched your heart or a thought. Every photo has a moment and a story too.
