Part of a local legend, in New Brighton, on the opposite bank of the Mersey to Liverpool.
There is a trail around the town of New Brighton, where five of the mermaid sculptures can be found. This one is on the promenade, and is the Mermaid of Memories.
King Scarface, one of the original Four Musketeers who use to rule over the famous Marsh Pride, with brothers Hunter, Sikio, and Morani they were known for their prowess and savagery in their heydays.
Scar earned his identity in 2012 when he narrowly escaped death after being speared by a Maasai warrior protecting his cattle. But with the help of conservancy vets he was soon back on the hunt albeit, less one eye.
They have since lost control over the Marsh Pride to the Six Pack and have moved away.
King Scarface was captured on an early morning game, sitting close to his brother Morani, during a photography safari drive in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya.
New-built Saint 2999 "Lady of Legend" clags its way past the signal box at Bewdley during a Matt Fielding charter at the Severn Valley Railway.

Aka; the first appearance of the modern Suicide Squad, which you may well know, is my favorite super-team of all time. After seeing Xenomorph79's shot of the line-up I realized it was one of the major Squads I hadn't completed yet, so I jumped onto that ship.
Flag has an updated torso/legs, and Floyd's toting the gun used to help bring down Brimstone, Boomerang has a bandoleer now, and Tiger is Tiger.
Enchantress however, has a CMF Wacky Witch hat that I painted green and black, and a scarf made from the CMF Judge's robes.
Now let's talk about Blockbuster. I knew if I was gonna make a Bigfig, it was gonna be him, cause I just couldn't find a way to represent him as a standard minifig that I actually like. I've never done a Bigfig before, but for my skills I feel like he turned out pretty okay. Face is a little wonky but, it is in the comics too, so I'm alright with that. Base is just a standard Hulk fig, and indeed he does have his trademark mullet, albeit just painted down his back because a sculptor I am not.
The paint used was Model Masters over a spray-on white primer base for both Blockbuster and Enchantress's hat.
Anyways, I'm stoked to have this classic line-up together at last.

I spent the day walking miles through Downtown Los Angeles and saw this on my way out through the art district.
Legend is a male great white shark that some of the Mexican researchers were tracking on my last trip to Isla de Guadalupe.
He was certainly one of the more curious white sharks that I've encountered at the island and often times would swim right up to the camera.
In this image he actually kept enough difference for me to get a decent profile shot of his left side.
