Regina leads the way! We were doing an adventurous morning hike today. Where are we? This was during our big hike to the famous Alamere Falls! I was with my cousin, Regina, Khin & Hnin…
*Our trip in summary:
We finally got to the falls around 9:45 a.m. after hiking just over 4 miles. Too bad it was foggy/misty, though it lit up just enough for us to see the falls clearly and up close & personal. Me and my cousin went here before but we didn't go down to the beach last time. This time around, we made it down! The hike to Alamere Falls is one of the best Bay Area gems for any park enthusiast. It's almost a rite of passage to touch the falls, and like anything worth seeing, you will need all day to access it. Alamere Falls is a waterfall in Point Reyes National Seashore, Marin County, CA. The waterfall is roughly 40 feet high. This waterfall is a rare "tidefall", a waterfall that flows directly into the ocean... The catch is that you'll have to earn this gem of a waterfall with a roughly 8.5-mile hike round trip, including the last half-mile consisting of a combination of brushing up against poison oak overgrowth, scary cliff scrambles and a stream crossing. You must also time your trip to the falls during low tides. But before you lament the hiking trail itself, it still offers stunning coastal scenery, wildflowers (in the spring), gum/eucalyptus trees, and even small lakes! For us, the hike to the falls was quite long & strenuous but worth it in the end. We ended the day by eating our late lunch back at The Kickin' Crab. 'Til next time, may the fourth be with you & happy hiking!

The build quality on this amp is low. Lots of flux everywhere, and really excessive wiring. I’ll be cleaning up a bunch of the lead dress.
The lane leads of Plymbridge Lane and went to the bottom of Forder Valley. A little further along from here there's the remains of what looks like a gate (see the next two photos). I wonder if this was a relic from the second world war, when Roborough airfield was used by the RAF to defend Plymouth?
A gravel driveway leads the eye past lawns and topiary towards the south entrance of Burghley House. Burghley House is the largest and grandest of the first Elizabethan Age. It was built between 1555 and 1587 by William Cecil, Lord Treasurer to Queen Elizabeth I. The formal gardens and surrounding parkland were created by Capability Brown in 1775-80.
